Played about 4 or 5 games of Iron Banner yesterday for my first experience and all of them were join in progress games. Why are people leaving? Only scumbags do that. Don't be a scumbag. I got completely owned in the join in progress games but still managed a positive K/D and I didn't leave. Why would you leave your team? You only care about yourselves? That's the one thing that really bothers me about multiplayer games. People will always leave you. Like why the hell would you play PvP in the first place if all you can manage is leaving your team behind? Guardian SCUM. There's no place for the likes of you in the Crucible or Iron Banner! Let alone the Tower! We fight for pride and glory! Guardians like you don't deserve to be called Guardians! Milk drinkers! Leave your mothers breasts!
EDIT 1: Last bit was a joke. Relax. A lot of people got butt hurt.
EDIT 2: To be clear, this post is not directed to people who get disconnected.

Probably because they're terrible at Iron Banner because it 'sucks'. I have no problems playing/enjoying Iron Banner and going positive EVERY game.
-
Only reason I leave is because Bungie's vast array of non-human creatures force me to leave...I never want to leave...
-
Bungie should have made it so that you gain reputation even with a loss. Nowhere near as much as winning though.
-
The light is strong with this one. I salute you fellow guardian and know this. Should our paths ever cross in the fields of battle that is Iron Banner. I will never leave and I will never lose. if you're against me or chosen to stand with me. Our light will blind the traveler brother.
-
Lol people leave because there's no reward for losing a match and they're too stupid or lazy to realize that going down by a few thousand at the beginning of the match doesn't mean shit. Once you get you're second cap you can get like 300 points per kill if you get someone on a kill streak or get some multi kills going. I've come back from that plenty of times, and I've lost after going up a few thousand early on plenty of times as well. It's called the comeback, I guess people have just forgotten what that is.

Bee errors among others have been dropping me from pvp today all day
-
It's a game, I join, try and kill shit and die more often than not win or lose. I fight to the end that's what I've always try to stick to. Never let your opponent have it easy.
-
Because if they're going to lose and get nothing, then they can at least speed up to their next chance. Yeah, theres the loot wheel and XP, but that will always be in normal Crucible, plus the loot system sucks, and Motes of Light are nearly useless.

Well I'm glad my rage has company. This playlist is plagued by quitters. If you're going to make a playlist like Iron Banner with only victory being rewarded and level advantages on (which I'm totally cool with) you have to punish people who quit and/or change it to mildly reward the losing team for having the stones to finish the match, or even better, pro-rate the rep gain by how much you lost by. For instance a win gets you 25. A huge loss gets you almost nothing, but a narrow defeat gets you 15 or so. It will keep people in the games and be much better for the health of my controller. I'm sure that stuff was suggested before.

Why wouldn't they leave? They get NOTHING for losing
-
Because the ghost chose unwisely.
-
The destiny community is the worst thats why. "I died by the vex gun, its op" "i died by a blade dancer, its op" "i died by a shotty, yup you guess it its OP" never mind that myself, along with tons of others continue to kill above mentioned "op" methods.
-
PVE>Crucible its pretty obvious
-
I still regularly get the BEE error.
-
Probably because the damage against higher level players is severely unbalanced. Lol. Low level players killed level 29s? Not logical. Shouldnt take 8 rounds from the Last Word to kill a player who has a lower defense, armor, and overall level than yourself. Thats probably why. Its a severely broken playlist
-
ppl leave because they just get sick of kicking ass and not getting rewarded at all. i went for two matches, top of the leaderboard highest kd and a win both times. the guy that had a 0.16 kd, got two exotics. i got nothing. i have since quit playing iron banner and have deemed a complete waste of my time.
-
I never did Iron Banner myself. I might just do a few games to get the Rank 1 and get the Shaders. Being level 30... I prefer farming Strikes than going in a Fancy Crucible Control match... But thats just me.
-
Yup, played a game today and everyone but me and some level 8 player left. But you know what? I stayed. So did the level 8. Yeah, we got pummeled for the next minute until some other players joined our team, and yeah, our team lost 20,000 to 7,000 because almost all of my team left in the first minute . However, when the new players joined our team, I managed to start pulling back from something like 4 kills and 12 deaths to 14 kills and 14 deaths. AND, when the match was over and rewards were given out, I was the ONLY one given rewards (the level 8 might have left by the end). I felt pretty good not being a sore loser and playing until the end.

Stop leaving games scumbag Steve!
-
Cuz it sucks
-
Quitters never win and winners never quit. #integrity #team
-
#pvpingsoloproblems

they do it because iron banner and the crucible in general suck ass

Edited by JohnnyBravo: 10/9/2014 7:42:53 PMI can usually tell if my team is going to lose, if they are I just leave. I dont want to waste my time carrying a bunch of scrubs just to get nothing for it.
-
Edited by NormanOsborn: 10/9/2014 7:03:45 PMWell you don't have to worry about me leaving because I will never enter. I'm out there fighting the Guardians' real enemies: the same bosses and mobs that show up in exactly the same manner as the last hundred times I killed them, hahaha.

If its on purpose its really annoying, but since Iron Banner started, I keep getting server connection errors which are kicking me out, always when i am doing ok too which is even worse >,<
