I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm doing the exact process you're going though. My wife isn't pleased and says I get to pay for a new TV if I can't fix it lol.

I'm hearing that "Disney's World of Wonders" Blu Ray HD CALIBRATION disc has a loop on it called: "Pixel Flipper" that some people are swearing fixes any issue like this...I see it on Amazon for just over $31 with shipping, but it doesn't ship faster than 7 days...I'm hoping to find something local...but it might be worth checking out.

Awesome! I'll definitely look into that. Thanks so much for the info. I hope you're able to resolve your issues quickly. I'm loving the game just like you! Hopefully Bungie will look into this and consider it on a future patch.

I just talked to one of the engineers where I work and he suggests using STATIC from an analog TV station doesn't come in...he says that people swear by letting STATIC wash their screens clean. I'm going to give it a shot this weekend and see what kind of results I get. I'll let you know if I find that it works or not.

Just yo give you an update, I used an analog channel with the white noise for a good few hours and I noticed a drastic change. The HUD is barely noticeable now. Hopefully you've been able to fix yours as well.

Glad to hear you are making progress with your HUD removal! I posted an update in my original post above (10/07)...but I've also severely minimized my HUD. It's not gone completly yet, but I at least have the peace of mind that it can be faded and more than likely gotten rid of.
