If eyes were in the back of your head, wouldn't backward be come forward? And according to psychology, people are able to function if we see everything upside down because our brains adjust/adapt to our vision. So if things were to get farther as we move forward (even though your argument is half-assed) we would probably adjust to that if it was consistent overtime.
