So this conversation about whether or not the bladedancer needs to be nerfed has been going on for a while. Personally I'm sick of it not because I agree with one side and I don't want to hear the other but because people are just ranting with no evidence to back up their rants. I'm sure bungie keeps stats everything, including how many kills, on average, each super gets and other stuff that would be relevant to this conversation. They would know if one of the classes was vastly superior to the others and would fix it or at the very least mention it in the list of things they intend to fix. They do this for everything else in the game and have mentioned changes that were made to the supers before, I think they made those changes launch day.
All of these conversations I've read have been people either saying it's over powered or saying that it's fine as is but no one is providing any evidence other than "in my experience". Until someone or a group of people get together a lot of actual data from lots of different sources neither side of this argument is going to have any real weight behind it and personal experience doesn't count as data. By data I mean match records with kills, deaths, K/D ratios, classes, and how many of those kills were with a super.
Does anyone else agree with me or am I alone in wanting to know the actual answer?
Edit: to clarify I am not looking for an explanation of why the bladedancer needs to be nerfed or why it should stay the same. I am looking for evidence to back up those explanations.

The problem is, as with many mmo-ish type games that won't separate pvp skills from pve skills, is that if you nerf the bladder dancer in pvp, the pve side will suffer even more.
