Let's rationally debate super

So let's talk supers, I've been hearing a lot of talk that Hunters Supers are OP. The blade dancers damage mitigation could probably be lowered, but the gunslinger is fine. The Titans falcon punch damage mitigation and area of effect should be changed, I don't think I should get hit when I've doubled jumped above him and the bubble shield still protects him even after he's left it. Warlocks nova bomb again pretty much invincible on start up and a massive blast radius, and the sunsinger well I think it's fine I at least have a chance to run. I just believe that people think the hunter class is op because 60% of the community picked hunters therefore you probably die by them a lot therefore making idiots think thier op. People do me a favour and use a hunter and see how good you do it's all perspective.

  • My opinion is laced by lag. As such a blade dancer is the bane of anyone in Aus. I have repeatedly shotguned bashed, bashed again and then jumped away and shotguned again. Still dead with BD alive and carrying on to take damage from 2-3 others without dieing and running off happy. The damage resistance is too much when the speed it so powerful. The problem being using it without damage resistance would end you up in the middle of a (albeit well organised) team, thus getting hammered. My suggestion would be to give it a 2 second invulnerability with 4-5 second effectivity thus enough to charge a group of 4, take out 2, hit a third and a fast chance on four. If you are good you could eat the whole team. Also it means being surprised by a BD is still just as effective. Ie i leave my seat by 3 inches. It is broken though when a person on a pike sees you coming is fireing the whole time as you approach while backing off. Gets a good 5-7 seconds of high rate of fire on you and it doesn't even 1/4 your shield. Then you one shot it. If you put out that damage then you should be more vulnerable. True a titan can one shot a pike, bit it is a single shot in an area, while they move slow. And i cannot tell you the amount of times I am backed away from while supering and thus missing. The agility combined with defence and damage is too much. Yes a trained person can 3-6 shot with gunslinger, but there is skill involved. More than me choosing when to smash. That and the BD seems so damn cool. I get the alure of crouch camping a flag then popping out. And that planning should pay off (as it also results in other flags having less attention). But having the ability to jump charge 1/2 of the map after players who predicted it (or were warned) while basically invulnerable is broken. Have fun all Doc
