So, having read both parts one and two now, I'm rather impressed with your writing. The end of the first part made me think the piece was a drawn out satirical joke, and it was actually pretty funny. Moving forward into the next part I appreciated the philosophical conversation the speaker was having (almost independently).
For what its worth, I would like to see this become a weekly piece, as it is quite well done. At some point the Speaker's reaction to the Guardian's successes in the chamber of night, their ingenuity in contacting the Awoken out on the Reef, his response when the Guardian returns to the Tower with they eye of a gate lord and a plan to infiltrate the untouchable exclusion zone and assault the Black Garden... The change in his internal dialogue between his opening speech (painfully cut from the final release) and the time when he gives his speech about hope following the protagonist's success destroying the heart of the Garden would be a solid character arc to explore.
At least its something I think would be cool to see :)
Congratulations on your work so far though, it was a joy to read. I tend to be highly critical of others' writing, so from me, this is high praise indeed.
Again, for what its worth. No more, no less.

Thank you very much for the praise! Your weekly Speaker talks is a very cool idea; though, I've already thrown myself off of that with One Night Out focusing on Cayde-6; I'm sure I'll get back to ol' mystery mask man though
