Every time i play the mission it's bugged me. If he is a prisoner in a cell that look's like its from Dragonball Z how does he still have a weapon?
English
#Destiny

He obviously has some prison guard connects...duh...
THUG LIFE!!!
-
Your ghost can teleport a organic organising so a fallen could teleport a metal object with total ease

Edited by LokiShinigami: 10/2/2014 4:44:23 AMWelcome to game-logic, where everything is made up and the plot doesn't matter. Whose Destiny is it anyways . . .
-
Because logic el oh el
-
Also his cell has a mounted canon on top
-
He could've been locked/shoved/tricked in there with the gun and (frozen?) in there.
-
Because bungie.
-
He had it hidden up his butt.
-
As they were placing him in his cryogenic cell, he killed a guard, stole his gun and THEN a guardian was able to punch him into the cell before he was able to do much damage.
hows that for a back story I came up with on the spot?
-
Because the Gun is also an inhaler, duh. The Queen is merciful, and allowed the Archon Priest to have his inhaler during his exile, lest he be inconvenienced by chronic bronchitis. You don't understand, the Fallen are an efficient race. Us humans have inhalers and we have guns. But the Fallen are much more clever. They combined the two, and thus you have the answer to your question.

Space Magic BRO. Seriously though idk it's definitely weird.
-
honestly I didn't think it would be a problem to think about since when you open it, it looks like quite a few weapons could be left in it AND the fact someone spring him from prison unarmed would have been just as far-fetched as him just having one to begin with....
-
Because hes NOT in a prison cell. He is in some sort of restoration chamber. It tells you that at the beginning of the mission.
-
They probably handed one to him as they started restoring its soul
-
It could be lie the norse men of older days, or the vikings of old where the warrior and his lady where buried together with weapons in hand. after all the Fallen raided the tomb of an Archon Priest to retrieve its body... Now I could be mistaken but I am pretty sure restoring means returning the thing to life.
-
Dude, he was a prison inmate, if it's one thing inmates know how to do it's smuggle contraband. He probably had it up his butt, most likley place anyway.
-
Magic...
-
This 2014, logic in video games is no longer a thing.
-
I say that every time i run him lol i was hoping he would throw bibles at us and clense us with holy water
-
Maybe his gun is just like our sparrow, it needs to be 'linked' and then he summons it.
-
Perhaps he was caught with gun in hand, and none of the Awoken guards were powerful enough to suppress the priest where they could remove the gun from him. But who really knows.
-
How come I keep on reading it like it says Archon Prius?
-
I always thought the priest was still stuck in the capsule and could be freed when you kill the big guy that comes out..
-
I never thought of that. If anything in Destiny made sense, I would probably notice something like this. I guess I've been desensitized by all of the nonsensical things in Destiny.
-
I never understood why we had to open the cell when we could just... 1 push that darn thing off over the cliff, 2. send it back to the prison of elders while evading the Fetch.
-
Even better, why didn't we just blow up his cell and call it a day? Lol
