Its funny they are quick to patch the loot cave but this one can wait

Except for the fact the loot cave was there for at least a week (more before it became popular) before it was patched. You people are so -blam!-ing stupid it isn't even funny.
-
Lol loot problem has been an issue just as long....longer actually.
-
It's almost like changing the loot system takes time where as changing a number for a spawn timer doesn't.
-
Thank you, perceptive sir. Besides guys there a loot cave 2.0
-
And 3.0.
-
yea and not giving anymore ascendant material for dismantled queen gear. why bother with queen missions
-
It's like they want their game to fail.

This game man. Ranked 6 in the world for grimoire, level 48 cryptarch, 92 ascendant shards, 17 exotic so far, 11 days played, level 29 for 2 weeks now but i can only get ascendant material and a shader for 3 weeks in a row from the raid? Trading this in for cod. Cant even get one piece of raid gear
-
Wait what u ant got no raid gear yet how many times have u done the raid
-
Final checkpoint 8 times, beginning to end 3 times after finding out rewards are weekly

Edited by EkadoFearnario: 10/1/2014 10:49:36 AMSo instead of having a more tangible goal, you would trade it up for a standard arena shooter, where the only tangible goal, is a k/d, w/l. Things obtainable in any arena shooter. Despite its current problems, can you honestly say in the long run, your going to have more variety in a call of duty title, than destiny? In COD you have a story mode, which lets be honest is a snore fest of just shooting people.(maybe not too far from destiny's) then what multiplayer, which you can get out of destiny. Atleast in destiny you CAN get gear, level it up, change skills, classes, strikes, sure repetitive, but isnt what you'd be trading for even more repetitive, being at heart only a arena shooter. Edit: not trying to exactly sway, just seeing why people still have the appeal in a "new" COD title. That gets on the nerves of its community after 3-5 months. Until the next one is announced, and hype builds for it. I used to be in that community, and am glad i left it behind.

Tl;dr yes im trading it in for a game that ACTUALLY HAS A POINT TO MULTIPLAYER WITH LEADERBOARDS AND RANKING
-
Oh yeah when I go to the clubs and bars, I just tell all the ladies to check out the leaderboards online then POW instant poooosay yeah B)
-
they dont even say a word for me they just drop them pants for daddy
-
Edited by EkadoFearnario: 10/1/2014 10:59:52 AMWhat does it matter, leaderboards really, what does it matter? It gets slammed by hackers for the 1-1000 ranking places, and becomes nothing after a few months. Ranks? You mean where you get to unlock new guns, that are just as powerful as your previous ones? Cod WaW mp40, first unlocked sub machine gun, kills just as fast as the final ppsh. Mw2 m4a1 was a two shit kill AR , ak70 2 shot kill also. Each subsequent game is just a reskinning of the last. Acr your no recoil AR is the same as your WaW STG no recoil AR-esqe gun. They honestly only have to make new models and can make another game, and milk out another 60$. Ranking has no real change, your abilities dont change, your weapon skins do.

Explain to me in your eyes then the point of destiny multiplayer then- which cant even be a mlg game without private match or gamebattles. Please explain.

At the end of the day, we all play the games we enjoy, i want you only to play what you enjoy. I only speak to you as a person, who was into what you are in a time before, and only wanted to share how i saw the games mold. And lose their charm for myself.
-
Lol well im still gonna play, gonna have to until the next game comes out. Evil within or borderlands. Probably never gonna get raid gear though.
-
Haven't gotten one piece yet? I got the chest twice, but hey. Anyways whats got your grapes about the game?
-
Overall the game is great, gameplay/guns a perfect 10 but the loot system is beyond horrendous, theres some annoying bugs and invisible walls you can get stuck on, and i wish it were more of an massive multiplayer online. Not just 7 people per patrol area. First raid i got an exotic scout rifle from chest, the sniper from boss, and shader, 2nd raid i got a sniper again and shader, 3rd i got just a terrible legendary scout rifle and shader and all times i got nothing but ascendant material. I have 92 ascendant shards and ive had maxed gear at lvl 29 for 2 weeks now.
-
Loot system, i have heard complaints of this alot, but this is something im used to, path of exile runs on the same thing, but actually more "horrendous". Its definetly not for everyone, but it certainly isnt broken, its just got to the wrong market of people.
-
Its just not fair imo for someone that invested themself into the game as much as me to never get any good loot when someone can get level 30 with 10 hours played that has good luck. I have 11 days, seeing a bunch of people FINALLY hitting 29 and passing my exp from raid gear. They gotta fix the algorithm for the loot somehow and add level 28 regular strikes.
-
I agree that i hope to see lvl 28 and 30 strikes. Fair, Rng is the name of the game, its life at times, there is no such thing as fair. Also 10 hours? Is this from lvl 1, otherwise its more than 10 hours. Well im certain its more than 10 hours, more than 98% of the playerbase has to wait multiple weeks for complete raid gear. Also when rng is involved, perspective always puts yourself at the short end of the stick. Its a t chart really, you have yourself on the left, with a 1/1000 chance, while on the right theres everyone else effectively, making it seem like they have the greater chance, which by logistics, they do. But the unfair is just perspective, its you verse everyone else, and your already putting yourself on the losing side.

I dont play for the pvp, i do have biased, i shall admit. But i look at the two games as a whole, for all legs they use to stand. This includes singleplayer and multiplayer. If your goal is mlg, then by all means play any of the number of arena shooters out there. Both games are at a slope, COD is a fail at singleplayer, but its multiplayer leg holds it up, even tho there are 8 other ones exactly like it, gathering dust. Now destiny it would have a shorter leg on its multiplayer, and its standing leg would be its singleplayer, but atleast in this title its singleplayer leg extends to support its shorter end. They are connected, inter tangible. Your not cut off from one, while enjoying the other. You have a wider and more connected playstyle to the entire games content.
-
lol, because you have bad luck on RNG sell it... Logic in this one is not shown.
