• Each of those will occupy you for a maxium of 2 hours. That's 90 hours of entertainment. You've got 96.5 hours in Destiny as of this post. Looks like you got more than your money's worth.

90 hours watching movies + 90 hours with the wife + time after the movie + plus time spent together prior to the movie + time spent picking the movie out together = >200 hrs. And don't tell me when I've got my moneys worth out of anything because you're nobody to put a value on my money. As I said earlier in the thread, a game needs to equate to at least $0.25 per hour for me to consider it to be worth my $60. That's 240 hours of playtime. My favorite games equate to a lot less than that.

  • According to the example you used, you have gotten your money's worth. You simply stated redbox movies. You could also count all the time spent in the forum, talking to friends about Destiny, recruiting for a fire team, talking to the fire team, and so on in Destiny and you'd still come out pretty close. Next time, do the math on your own example before posting it, lol.

Are you just being smart? Or, are you really clueless? smh... I made a smart reply to a smart reply. You haven't been following the thread, you just jumped in and started commenting on stuff without even understanding the conversation that happened prior to. Basically, the OP's comparison is nonsense. He's not comparing apples to apples, at all. Most games, that I really like, I get 240+ hours of game time out of them. That's the standard that I hold games to when I pay $60 for them. To me that's getting my moneys worth. There's games that I have -1,000 hrs on, to me, that's feeling like getting more than my moneys worth. Next time read the thread before you post. lol.

  • I've been reading the thread. I saw all your other posts about the value of your money and blah blah apples, oranges. Point is, you threw out the example and I threw out proof you needed a better one. His comparison is valid. The purpose of entertainment is finding an enjoyable way to spend time. When you equate value of entertainment to money, you bring time into it. Doesn't matter if you find 4 pizzas or 45 ranted movies to be of higher entertainment value, when you apply time to it, you get a value by which to compare. Smart ass or not, you missed the point of the op's post. If you want to be a better smart ass, name something that actually only costs $0.25/hr to do.

Are you really this clueless? You can go to the beach for free. Most museums have a free day. The library is free. A year long fishing license is half the price. A few months of unlimited netflix. Cable programming costs less, etc... According to the OP's logic the game should either be free or cost a whole lot less. It's not my fault you just randomly comment on stuff that you don't even understand the context of and end up making yourself appear to be a dummy.

  • I didn't randomly comment. It was a poor example, even for a smart ass one. Especially since with a little prodding you managed to come up with many legit examples to support your entertainment value of $0.25 an hour. And yes, thanks for the insults. That always shows whose superior in a forum, lol. Go you!

There were no indirect insults. You should read less into someone having an opposing view point in a forum. You have a good day too.

I can get about ~6 bagels, give or take one. Even less if I throw in a drink and/or muffin/some other snack.
