Voidwalkers, what is the best Nova Bomb for Crucible?
I've been messing around with Lance and the talent that makes Nova Bomb track enemies, but sometimes I'll miss or people will just straight up side step and completely avoid my Nova Bomb.
So I'm looking for different Nova Bombs to mess around with.
Which ones have you found the most success with?

Vortex is best. Continual damage in a big area. But I agree with others, just use sunslinger.

When it comes to the Crucible, it depends on the map. The good thing with Nova Bomb is it's extremely versatile. If there's a lot of hallways and corridors, lance is good, and it'll fly a straight path. If you're somewhere with a lot of open space, and it's easy for your enemies to scatter, shatter + angry magic = doom. If there are lots of choke points and camping spots, vortex for dominating a specific area.

I only run sunsinger anymore, but my voidwalker super uses votex which continually causes damage to those trapped inside, sometimes in control you'll get enemies that run through it with low health an pick up an extra kill.

1 Replylast but not least the nova bomb can take down the titan bubble shield which a see a good number of times being used and everyone crowds into it lol i love to see that bubble to pop with 3 to 4 people in it hahahahaha.

Vortex, Annihilate and vortex mastery is my favorite... I've got kills by aiming up, taking out enemies on the other side of the map ;)

9 Replieshonestly if you are missin with the nova bomb then you not to bomb are the problem. The nova bomb is a directional attribute which means you have 2 to 3 seconds to move the joy stick in the direction you want the void ball to go in. i barely miss and if i do i still catch people because i blick. i also lauch two axion bolts but that is aprt of my exotic cheat gear. the bomb is to be used when you have an advantage or wish to secure an area. run and gun solo is pointless in destiny. if you are not along then use the team mates. The nova bomb is the most successful if you know what you are doing

For whatever reason I notice that my Nova bombs are less accurate with lance. I like the one that makes bigger explosions (sorry I forget it's name).

I personally like the one that leaves a big void bubble especially with the ability that makes them last longer and makes them bigger. Cause then some people forget it's there and die trying to escape >=]

Any of them because if you jump a point and fire it in the middle they all die anyway

I'm so accustomed to the arc that Lance throws off my aim; also, according to the e-guide at least, Lance decreases blast radius by 10%. I stick with Vortex for Crucible. Shatter is fun for PvE, but I prefer the single large blast for enemy players.

currently using Lance (but I think I'll go back to Vortex), Annihilate (increases explosion size), and will also use Embrace The Void (once unlocked). Annihilate helps with regard to blast radius.
