I was promised a sci-fi fps with an rpg element, looks like I got exactly that. Are there some pieces left out, yeah that's been stated, but that was a decision made by Bungie and I support it because they had a good reason. If you were to go into a surgery, promised that you would have your spleen removed, only to wake with your legs missing, would you just be cool with it, hoping it would get better? While that analogy is extrememe im using it to better illustrate what is going on. They promised X+Y they cut X, reworked y into Z, and said -blam!- it, pay 35$ for X down the road. I was promised a sci-fi fps with an rpg element, looks like I got exactly that If thats all you saw promised, than you should go back and look at the vid docs, podcasts, and news from them, you are missing a -blam!-ton.

Video games are a very complex and complicated business, the more complex something is the more flaws and more bugs that it WILL have. I would say Bungie did a great job of mitigating the amount of bugs, the game's current content was playable the entire way through without many hiccups. However, your kind dwells on these insignificant things and says the game is crap because of it. If you're butt hurt because you have to pay a measly $35 in a couple months you need to reevaluate your priorities. Did you play D3 when it first came out? Yeah you couldn't even progress through the whole game, that game was an attrosity for the first 6 months. There are more examples I'm sure, but that one is the freshest in my mind. Unfortunately, not everyone is as blessed as you are! I have a degree but is impossible to work full-time thanks to stage 4 heart failure nothing I did genetics. I was an EMT and getting ready to pursue my Master's for Psychology until this diagnosis. Hospital bills alone have completely wiped any and all savings I had. Because, of my disability I can only make $1,700 a month, so factor in rent, car payment, insurance, and medications there is very little money at the end of the day for necessities much less games! A great friend got me my PS4 to help me pass the time on days I can't leave the house. So, for me $60 is a rather large investment well when you add in the add ons, that most certainly has to be purchased to get the whole experience it is more like $120. Now my particular beef is not with Destiny though after a week and a half it is getting a bit tedious. But, in my recent memory a game that was a total waste of money was BF4! A year later and that game still has serious flaws! What made me have the need to comment was you saying that because I think $60 is a lot of money I should just "quit at life; one less of you bottom feeders bringing down the human race would be a step in the right direction" is calloused and offensive. Just pray you never get sick buddy! Because 85% of all Americans are one major illness from bankruptcy!

Sorry to hear about your condition, but if 60 is breaking the bank, maybe you should of waited a few weeks after launch to decide about buying the game. Just my two cents.

I agree with you HermodTheBold, I wouldn't be happy either, but in the grand scheme of things I have wasted a lot more money on other things that didn't work out. Anyone have an ex they spent money on? I guarantee it was more than $60.
