There is no social aspect to the game because you can't park your guardian in one spot and farm loot. The treasure cave is over. But I noticed the social aspect if this game was lacking within the first hour of playing it.
There's no open chat. Which certainly has up and down sides. But even in GTAO once and a while I open my chat for some social nonsense. It's fun some times to listen to the crazy shit people say online. And it's wonderful to be able to turn it off. Maybe just at the tower an option to join an open chat would be cool?

But at the tower you would be just talking...and we want to shoot AND talk AND meet new people, hence my plead for the cave. :-)

Forget the cave. It's not coming back. But open chat option for what ever area you are in would be cool and would fit in with the illusion of an open world game which would be right in line with what this game is.

The fact that open chat across the entire game doesn't exist blows my mind and goes against everything this game is meant to be. "Go share the world but we'll only give you 3 emotes to do it with..."

Emotes I was surprised to see them in a shooter. I'm not a huge fan of open chart but if they added it I'm certain they would call it something like guardians com channel or something more Sci Fy sounding. I'm very interested to see how they build out this game at the moment I'm totally hooked.
