I'm going to be honest: me and my mates are having a blast with Destiny. It's fun, unique and enjoyable. Sure, the story could've been expanded upon, but there are plenty of games out there with a worse and much less detailed story.

I agree with you as my friends and I also are enjoying what we can. But the random disconnects (some out to the Destiny start screen) during a mission really put a damper on the fun. There are some bugs(?) that also reduce the fun; having ammo (special and heavy) gone after coming back to a game, having a bounty to get three fallen walkers but only one register (per game) even after running around till each event shows up (takes like an 40mins to respawn per walker...or having to go kill the Devil walker (that counts) with scarcity of ammo (and ridiculous 4 MINUTE counter for using in battle ammo). I want to play, have fun and finish to move on. If it has longevity, I will determine it, not some corporate executive golfer that thinks he knows gaming better than CliffyB! (lol... I hate DudeHuge aka CliffyB...just had to plug that...because of what happens to a franchise like Gears). Sorry. Digressed. There are PLENTY of games with lame or no story. But there are some that have great stories (Tomb Raider reboot, Last OF Us, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, MassEffect (1-2 ) Bioshock...and games with great play (Portal 2, Oblivion, Halo<---, and others).

Yeah had one of those random disconnects last night when fighting a strike boss...

Don't get me started on the random disconnections. Annoying as HELL! They are the only bad thing about this game.
