Aren't all level advantages disabled in the crucible? Surely that means strength, agility and recovery...? No?

The main 3 stats (armor, regen, and agility), are all at their starting levels for each class. Any skill that changes these (subclass skills) is nullified in current Crucible matches. So the Titans have the most health, the Hunters are the fastest, and Warlocks regen faster All weapons deal the same damage (of the same type i.e, a legendary assault rifle does the same damage per shot that a level 1 does), but their "extra" stuff is still taken into effect (buffs to cooldowns, range, clip size, blast radius, etc). Stability, clip size, and rate of fire are the most important things to look for in good crucible weapons (to this day i STILL use a level 5 rocket launcher just because it has 2 rounds in the clip so I don't have to reload).

Yup that's exactly what my understanding of it was, other than the starting stats. Makes sense that only the buffs are in effect, gives some meaning to collecting legendary/exotic weapons for the crucible.

No the 3 main stats are uneffected. In fact the only things effected in crucible are the attack on your weapons (damage is directly related to the impact stat) and the defense on your armor (i believe str, int and disc still apply). Max toughness is really not that big a difference and is literally 0 difference when getting shotgunned in the face at point blank range currently.

Yeah I mean, I recently specced my hunter for armour, barely noticed a difference in anything crucible wise.

It is all leveled out that it was the Titan can't just shrug bullets off like PvE. In the Iron Banner titans will dominate the other classes in health.

I thought it was just gun damage. Some other people said the stats as well but I noticed a considerable difference in my agility when I changed it.
