Tell me 1 good reason why publishers (especially Activision) would not want to go this route (cutting content and selling it part by part) after the HUGE success that COD and its map packs are having since all those years, breaking sales record over sales record.
They can do it, people buy it, they make more money, no reason not to do that.
COD yearly buyers and map pack buyers are all to blame for the industry going this way, and there won't be any turnaround of the situation anytime soon. Period.

$100 for tons and tons of PvP action and plenty variety for one year? I call that a bargain! I also spend an average of $50 a month on SWTOR because it's fun. Destiny in it's current state is fun for me too....so they're gonna get my $ for as long as I'm having fun. Entertainment is something I support with my wallet

Yea but what they're doing with destiny is restricting content already on the game and then selling access to it. Atleast with the cod map packs they were still extra content.

Is the content complete or incomplete? I can understand it being locked if its not done yet.
