Also, Anyone else find these forums very difficult to use. Seems counter intuitive.

  • I've got some suggestions for destiny. 1. Make legendary engrams a deeper purple. Depending on the lighting it can be very hard to distinguish from a blue. 2. Make an increased light level cap. Most players I see are mid to high 20's and I have been 29 for a week. Without a higher cap there will be little reason for level 30's to continue playing. 3. Legendary gear needs better mods. The mods or legendary boots and chest pieces aren't any better than rares and are overall pretty useless, that added with the fact that exotic chest and boots have actual useful mods means that any good player looking to get maximum value will use one of thise slots. If boots were able to spawn some things like increased movwment spped, + to agility, increased movement speed while crouching, higher jump, increased sprint speed, anything more useful than extra ammo would help to make armor choices more difficult. 4. Don't make raid armor the only way to hit 30. By making raid armor the only way to hit 30 you are essentially forcing everyone to wear the same exact thing except for one exotic. No personal choice or variation. If I want to hit 30 I have to wear that armor which really isn't ideal in a game like this. 5. More difficult raids. This raid is extremely fun and it was difficult the first time but the difficulty isnt in execution but in knowing what to do. If you can follow the same formula but also find a way to make the raid a challenge to complete once you know how to do it. 6. Don't change loot like you are planning in 1.02 its a bad idea. In a few weeks the game will already be over saturated with legendary items. Most people today seem to want instant gratification and just want legendary items to be plentiful and easy to find. Don't listen to them. The current drop rate is perfect legendary items sgould be rare and hard to come by. I've found about 25 legendary engrams in my near 200 hours of gameplay and only a few have been legendary items. While I wish they were all legendary this makes getting a legendary item way more enjoyable. If you give in to the masses who arent willing to put time into the game the only thing you are doing is punishing the people who are willing to put the time and effort in and ultimately hurting the longevity of the game. 6. Allow matchmaking for the vault of glass and nightfall/heroic strikes. Again the raid isnt that hard. I recently beat it with some people I don't know without the use of a mic. I understand that it's a test of teamwork and if you're worried about a lack of communication just make it so party chat can't be active thus forcing game chat. 7. Allow strikes to be done out of matchmaking. There is no reason I shouldnt be allowed to do a strike alone or with just one friend or with 2 firends and a garauntee if he gets disconnected he wont be replaced by a random. I can't tell you how many times this has happened. Just allow us to select a strike or strike playlist with or without matchmaking.

  • No, the loot system definitely needs to be changed. I would rather be oversaturated with purples, that have a higher chance to be Purples, so I can break them down if I don't use them for upgrade materials. Right now it is damn near impossible to get acendent shards. Besides, if there are more purples, maybe we will start seeing a variety of gears, doing a variety of things.

  • I think your missing the point over the light level system and the scarcity of shards. Its supposed to take awhile to get them. Also again if you're willing to put time in you can easily get shards. In 2 hours yesterday I got 30 shards. I use my 2nd character who I leveled to 20 in about a day and a half and transfer over my gear. Do the daily for each char, do the weekly for each char, do the nightfall and the raid. Yesterday after completing the raid and daily on one character I had already earned 20 shards. Now so far this week I have yet to do the raid or weekly on my main character and I have already gotten 35 strange coins, 32 motes of light, 2 legendary weapons, 4 ascendant energy, and 36 shards. I do not utilize any farming technique such as the treasure cave.

  • Most people don't run more than one character. Many people don't want to transfer things back and forth. And in all honesty, There has to be an easier way to get materials rather than running 3 different characters, or constantly deleting and recreating characters.

  • Again its not supposed to be easy, thats the point. And most people don't run 2 chars but realistically its not hard and doesnt take much time. I completely understand people not wanting to do it but that doesnt change the facts. If your willing to work and put time in you will get rewarded, if you don't it will take you a few extra days to level. Shards dont become a major factor until 26+ anyway and by then you can make them faster. Leveling from 26-30 should take longer than 1-25 thats just how games like this work. Most gamers today just want things to be easy and handes to them, I like a challenge and thats the way I believe games should be, difficult, requiring actual effort. I would also like to add that I have never deleted and recreacted a character and about a week and a half ago I felt the same way as you about shards being to scarce until I realized how much easier they are to get at higher levels if you put the time in.

  • I'm not saying legendaries would make it easier, however, the current drop rate, required the new patch to fix the cryptarch and fix the reward system for doing harder content.
