I can tell you that you won't be compensated for it. I can also tell you that there wouldn't be a return thing. No game has that. Not one and if you can name one id be surprised. That would end up being an exploit to a degree. However I would see and would like to have the option of a "are you sure?" or a duration you have to hold a button down to purchase something just like the "return to orbit" option.

When? I only played WoW when it was actually difficult. When I played it didn't, either way. This guy won't be getting a refund on his item. Best he can do is either break it down, use it or put it in his vault.

Actually, I had my Anathema/Benediction dismantle due to my brother getting onto my account, that was restored within 24 hours. The same culprit, my brother transferred around ~300g, back during the Vanilla still, from my account to his, he purchased a http://www.wowhead.com/item=18766 for 900G at the time. I contacted support, got my 300g back, he got a 3 day ban, when he returned to his account the mount was gone. He then contacted customer support and said his mount had disappeared during his ban, which he then got reimbursed for.. Yeah he pulled some, "My brother gave it too me for free then turned against me and reported me and put 600g of my own work into it" bullshit. Never the less, he was given 300g for free from Blizzard the moment that mount hit his inventory. Lucky prick....
