Today I've received Errors: Caterpillar, Centipede, and Monkey back to back with Monkey being the most prominent one. I've stopped using WiFi to play Destiny and ran a LAN cable from my router. I always receive the errors within 30 seconds to 5 minutes of beginning a Campaign mission. Help...
Update: all platforms are affected. I've tried restarting my PS4, router, and my modem. None work. It's definitely a server issue or a problem with today's hot fix. Most likely, the hot fix update is the cause of the issue. Expect there to be a new patch released soon. @Bungie there's a lot of pissed off fans out here. Get your shit together and test these patches before letting them past QA!
Update: seems to be working for me now. I've been playing now for over a half hour.

I too have been receiving caterpillar. I cannot even get to the orbit screen before it gives the error message. The funny thing is that other accounts on my ps3 are able to log on and play just fine. I downloaded the mobile app for destiny and it even says that my account has no record of destiny being played (and I have a lvl 23 so there's some actual playtime I've invested). Please help Bungie!!!
