We are aware there are some players that are not having a quality experience getting or staying connected to Destiny, even after following the troubleshooting steps. Why have I only started encountering these problems since yesterday? Until yesterday, I had no problems playing the game on either console xbox one or 360. Each day since release i have played the game for at least 5 hours and yesterday made me realise the struggles other people are having

My team just beat Atheon for the first time this week (bar 2 people) and nobody got anything. No chatter whites no shards no weapons. In fairness, my connection to Bungie was fine until Sunday night (during the DDOS attack) and had reached a lowly level 28. Now I get constant WASP and Cattle errors in rotation, cannot log in at all. tracert stops when connecting to bungie.net servers (timeout IP) I am a IT consult with 20 years experience, my network is fine, ports opened and I have everything recorded through a proxy and it's the connection to Bungie.net that's been refused. NOTHING to do with my ISP or connection quality. I am very close to returning the game, which is a real shame, since I consider it one of the best titles I have played in years. FIFA 15 here I come! (can connect to online matches fine with FIFA15 and every other title I own on PC/PS4/Xbox360 and Xbox One, iOS and Android platforms)
