Exactly. I don't know how people haven't picked up on this yet.
A message will show up in the lower left of the screen, says, "The enemy is moving against each other," or something along those lines. Then an event happens where two sides duke it out and you're in the middle. Nothing to do with farming, it's just like a public event in that it happens every so often in certain areas.

Happened to me on mars. Craziness everywhere! More blues dropped than sitting at that pesky cave. Im lvl 27 without the need to farm. Good amount of luck and persistence is all that is required, most are lazy and just want a quick come up.

You're farming no matter what you do. Running strikes, patrol, crucible - it's all farming. Cave's no different.

I understand that but what I mean is just sitting at cave shooting into an opening gets tedious very fast. Not for me
