No the luck based drops ruined the game. Why waste 20 minutes on a strike getting nothing when you can do nothing and still get nothing?
When bungie learns how to make an mmo ill leave the cave. Until then.

what you are saying is why should i enjoy the game if i can sit infront of a cave. but what normal players do is do the fun stuff like strikes, the raid pvp etc. and then maybe do a little farming at the cave

That's a good point, but it seems to me that if there is a possibility of getting nothing in either case, doing SOMETHING--like maneuvering through a mission sequence with friends--would be more entertaining....
