How to deal with griefers/trolls.
Don't waste your time with griefers. When someone tries to troll you, inspect them, report to Bungie, view gamercard and report them to Xbox or PS, then avoid player, go to orbit, reenter the world and POOF they're gone. If it happens again just rinse and repeat. Takes way less time then waiting to see if they get bored before you do.
EDIT: I don't know how PSN works but for Xbox you guys can search any gamertag, on your console or on the xbl website and put that person on your avoided players list. I've been doing it to every xbl member that says they troll/grief. If they don't show up in the search then they're on PSN.

14 RepliesThats a great idea, lets flood the complaint system with bickering so that any [i]real[/i] issues gets drowned. The most likely result will be that they remove the source of the complaints, e.g. the LootCave. I blame Bungie, ultimately it is their responsibility to close exploits/loopholes/whatever you call them before we get to a situation like this.

38 RepliesYou do realize that avoid does not mean you wont ever play with them again,. it just wont match you to them when starting the game, it has no effect if they get matched to you when they start the game. Plus for everyone you report there will be somoen to report you for boosting, exploiting for that is what cave farming is even if bungie currently says it is not. By xbl tos using any game mechanic that allows you to cheat your way which farming the caves does. is basically boosting.

Yesterday i was showing the cave to 2 buddys and there was a guy sitting in there and shoot rockets at us. We reported him and restart the zone.

15 RepliesBecause this is totally gonna stop you from entering a server where there is nobody at the " loot cave" HA. Goodluck with that. Also, there is a "Loot Cave" everywhere on every map. Simply a spot where enemies respawn. Keyword:Respawn, so no. It's not against any rules or regulations, just get over it and worry about yourself. And no, i do not sit at the cave. People complaining about the farmers annoys me! Just play the goddamn game and worry about yourself.

I never have gotten an exotic OR legendary armor piece for my class other than purchasing them. To all tards I hope you keep reading my post because I comment on every "loot cave" post. There is no reason to do it. Never done the loot cave but I assume it's a good way to get engrams. My problem with the "griefing" side is that someone standing at the mouth of a cave shooting things in the head for an hour in no way interferes with the way I play or enjoy the game. They are enjoying it so let them do it. However, if I were a "caver", you standing at the mouth of the cave interferes with the way I enjoy the game. It's just a dick move in general.

The same game design that leads you to believe you are free to camp and exploit a spawn spot, gives any other person the same right to stand there and dance. The devs designed the spawns to happen when no one is in the cave, AND they designed the spawns to not happen when someone is standing there. So... deal with it. You have the right to stand anywhere else, go find some other place to exploit.
