I think the idea is that learning all this stuff is "part of the game" ;-)
True a very boring and tedious game learning what icons mean/do etc. It would be so much easier if this website had some meaningful help. As it stands you have to read a load of blogs/forums and try and sort the wheat from the chaff - it's tedious and reduces the entertainment of what is actually an excellent game. But I think this is one of the reasones why it's <80% on gamerankings.com

If we just had a legend for the icons that we could pull up... or if we hovered the cursor over them that it would tell us what it means. What does an upside down shield with an Arc damage icon mean? Damage boosted or damage nerfed... and by how much. You can't choose a loadout without knowing.
