Windows 7 deployment. Basically sit around for eight hours watching the time slowly trickle by. Get home around 3-4, and then have about 2-3 hours before I have to pick my wife up. We do dinner, have married time, and then I get anywhere from another 2-3 hours before I go to bed at midnight for a 7 a.m. work shift.

No wonder why all the new win7 systems at work are so problematic. Slackers! Get back to work!!! :p

Pry management skimped on the quality of the computers they have had your guys put Windows 7 on, we'd love to give you functional stuff because if we did we'd have less crap do in the long run and we could deal with real issues instead of ones we could avoid by using proper hardware, but that costs money, spending money is bad unless it's being spent in some way that makes their lives personally better. Bitter? You're bitter, I'm not bitter, shut up! *Cries* Our warehouse is putting Windows 7 on Lenovo T500s from god knows when because we no longer have a choice...

This is my life. It is a good life. I'll be using two days of vacation time this week to make sure I can hit the queen event hard.

I'm also doing Windows 7 Deployment, it's somewhat comforting to know that it doesn't matter where, deploying Windows 7 is a boring, boring snore. So tired of the users never responding...

Edited by Giblet: 9/23/2014 4:11:05 PMDude I'm with h both you guys. Unresponsive users who complain when you do something your way because they wouldn't tell you their preference lol

I'm tired of the people who call back for their appointment to get some stuff installed to get the data to their new PC from the old one and they're like "I need my computer for computer things? What!? No one told me that!" You're right... I didn't tell you that, because it is the most obvious thing you would need and it is actually documented as to what we'd be doing in one of the dozen or so emails we've sent you because you never respond. Do you go to the mechanic on your bicycle and expect him to figure out what's wrong? I'm not even allowed to pressure them, they all think I love them. I get so many damned positive reviews and I hate like every single call and the people I'm speaking with, haha.

Lol I feel you man

I have a method for dealing with people who delete emails without reading them, when it sends that alert "This email was deleted without being read." I send it again, every time they delete it I send it again. It gives me the sickest satisfaction.
-
That's so awful and hilarious all at the same time lol
-
When they do call after doing that for ages... It's wondrous, cause they can't really be mad, they can't yell at me cause it's required they do this.

We have the opposite problem. It seems the custom images we have are always failing during deployment. It's a mess
-
Yea those images degrade overtime. In my experience I have to rebuild them from time to time or I risk having issues.
