Angry Joe's review was almost perfect.
Hit the nail on almost everything that needed to be said. For those who want to open their eyes to the truth, here it is.

But you got to admit he's right on everything. It's really frustrating to see the great potential of this game, and all the little mistakes everywhere. The main failure is for sure : The story. It's awful ! Why did they even bother ? The lore could be great but meh, I don't even remember one of the character name. Honestly, It's just really really bad writing. In Strikes, most of boss fights are great [u]but[/u] boring : no phase, no special abilities, just like [u]a lot[/u] of HP. He's right on the lack of loot drop from bosses, I mean actually right there on the floor, why not, at least, 2 or 3 green / blue engrams ? After an hour of shooting at it... And why they don't allow you to choose your high level strike [u]or[/u] random, why a playlist ? I keep doing the same ones again and again, I swear to you, still didn't see some of them in high level versions. Let's see what they correct in the future patches and if the DLC / expansion pack will have the same problems.

Wish Bungie rolled out special mechanics along the way and not just in raids. He clearly doesn't like RNG so obviously he's going to be a crybaby about it. Also seems to make up "fanboy" statements to counter point that [i]nobody[/i] actually says. Edit: lol he wants trading, can't take that seriously Edit #2: that RNG rant got pretty cringy to listen through, until he apologized; that's when he was a lot easier to relate with. Can't say I like his shtick if he does that grandiose complaining over little things all the time.

2 RepliesI love Destiny! And I am super excited to go home from work and play more! But Angry Joe hit every point perfect! Though I can't seem to put this game down it has all these flaws and issues. I hope Bungie will do the right thing.. I never played halo so I can't say I've been a Bungie fan, but I just hope they don't continue to disappoint...

8 RepliesSmall game but with big things coming, it's an online based game that they are expanding every month with new events and hopefully updates. This game is different than most and almost every destiny player thinks that it's crap. People make mistakes and the criticism doesn't help. Feedback yes but hating on a game that has only been out for almost a month doesn't mean the game is shit. Everything in this game is put on here for a reason, maybe they are trying new things, maybe it's what's intended. Legendaries aren't all that great because you can buy them, most likely you'll get the armor you can easily buy, raid gear legendaries are what people should be looking for, exotics again whatever hard as shit to come across and it's luck to achieve it. For me played raids, saved notes, coins, and actually PLAYED the game and my outcome was good and bad, 8 exotics, full legendary gear for Titan and hunter, because I played the game like it was intended. Just play and have low expectations so you don't get disappointed, easy as that.

Some things I agree with, some things I don't... the $500 million stat is incorrect and that's the running cost for the series (you know, more than one game) and PvP is not perfect - that's going to take more balancing. But I do agree that the story is lacking depth, Peter Dinklage sounds bored, and the gameplay does get repetitive (much like WoW and Defiance). But I'm still having some fun playing the game. And no, not all people - the ones you and other folks affectionately refer to as "desticles" - who enjoy this game are completely enthralled by it and unwilling to criticize its shortcomings.

12 RepliesJeez I really hate how everyone just has to criticize about everything. Yeah Destiny is a short game but have you thought that it's on a large sever so that takes up a lot space. I really hate critics if you think you can make a better game than Destiny prove it, if not, then leave them alone.
