Hey I just started playing this game 3 days ago and have noticed something odd in the crucible. I have played a ton of games there and I have yet to see a single player playing any class other than hunter. Also I have noticed they rarly use any weapon other than a fusion rifle Why is this. Do hunters get some massive buff from fusion rifles or something.
Edit Sorry typo. Meant to say started playing in the crucible about 3 days ago

need people for PvP (PS3).I play mostly PvP and just the hard pve modes so I'm playing PvP 75% of the time but the problem is I'm in a clan and allied with a couple other clans but no one plays PvP regularly like I do so I end up playing by myself constantly. My proposition is if you play mostly PvP and have a MIC add me and we will run in a group. PSN: jscrazzy Comment so I know your sending a request

Edited by WhitePowder: 10/23/2014 3:56:26 AMWarlock and Hunters are better suited for crucible. All I know is that the Titan's super is very underpowered compared to the sunsinger and bladedancer. Bladedancer isn't that bad but sunsinger needs a definite nerf. It is pretty ridiculous letting a guy run around with insta kill
-
im a hunter and all I see are those damn warlocks everywhere with that scorch bullcrap
-
Warlock is broken and if you don't agree you haven't got deep enough into sinsinger. That's all I see in the crucible.
-
Fusion rifles? I barely see them... Shotguns you mean. Slide, shotgun and melee. Same BS
-
Humm trippy. I made a hunter after my warlock was boring. Have not been back to PVP since.
-
hunters use shotguns and arc blade mostly titans use fusion rifles warlocks just use their op melee with too long of a range
-
I chose hunter back in beta and haven't looked back. I honestly chose it because of cape. Op not op, I don't care. I didn't start playing PvP till I got exotic bounties, I kinda suck at it but steadily getting better. I would say I see mostly hunters and warlocks. But when I see that titan bubble, I just give up on capping that flag. Either move back to defending or cap other flag.

Always get owned by frost mages on my warrior in the battle grounds :(
-
Master race.
-
You do NOT wanna meet me in the crucible. Lvl 28 titan with thorn, upgraded!! Not to mention the shield!
-
All cod players who need that gold gun
-
Maybe it's because you're blind?

Edited by drag0nboss: 9/23/2014 8:59:58 AMI find it funny that people compain alot about Hunters, they're probably the worst class stats-wise, have the worst grenades, and both supers are just about equal if not very slightly worse than the other classes. Titan and Warlock supers can kill more people in a single use than the bladedancer can. What hunters do have is agility and that's about it, so if youre a good player you can use that to your advantage. The most BS I've seen in the crucible is from Titans; Invulerable bubble/overshield and the fist of havoc killing you even after you've jumped out of the way and are still airbourne. Warlocks can also wipe an entire group of people with the triple bomb super and they tend to jump into a room and super immediately making it hard to avoid. Also, I dont know why people think the bladedancer super gives you extra speed, it does not and the only people I kill with it are usually noobs or are camping around the corner waiting to abush me with shotguns. It is also not a one-hit kill, it is two most of the time and three for some Titans, and I am easily killed out of it with shotguns or from afar with auto rifles. The invisibilty perks do give a slight edge in rumble. I used cheap tactics with a shotgun and invisibility for the Thorn bounty: Only move when invisible. That said, the invisibilty is not that good in other PvP modes anyway (worse than the Fallen stealth vandals). It does however reward more clutch gameplay tactics and accuracy than any other class, in my opinion. It might be the best for 1v1 situations and is probably the best for stealth/skirmisher tactics as well.

I get killed by more titans then hunters, but blade dancers are awesome for pvp only pvp though
-
Because that class is OP. Especially with blade dancer.
-
hunters have two great specials Melee and ranged so they have their bases covered for a lot of play styles, they seem like an easy class to start with, anyway I've always been a space wizard. In my experience, collecting the three class kill bounties, there seems to be a shortage of Titans. Took several more games to complete shake the pillars than the rest
-
Really? I'm a Hunter and all I see are Warlocks
-
Idk as a warlock I usually grow bored of crucible after awhile usually just dominate another team for a few games then go back to strikes where the real difficulty is.
-
im on ps4, the most rare class seems to be hunters for me
-
IDK what system you are playing on but i see more Titans on ps4

Taster of my stats http://m.imgur.com/WpOgJci http://m.imgur.com/Zb9TsMB http://m.imgur.com/6OXG1cc http://m.imgur.com/nvsAN7K http://m.imgur.com/HQMMHoa I play hunter, never use my super and I stick to auto rifles mainly. Just because you can't defend against a class doesn't mean they're OP, the classes that have a handheld over shield on melee and mental buffs/one shot kill melee are the OP ones and to add I see much more warlocks and hunters have awful grenades - It's about skill not classes
-
When you play as a hunter you'll see how they really aren't that op. Blade dancer is easily countered. You CANNOT counter a Titan super. It's a massive "I win" button. "Hunters are op" ridiculous.
-
Because hunter can blink or double jump, which are better than lift or glide, also turn invisible and have the best supers
-
All the classes are balanced for supers IMO. What isn't is the god damned machine gun. 3 hits any where kills you.
-
I like all the Hunters. It makes getting the bounty for killing them done faster. And I just won't play crucible on Titan day. My win.
