191 hrs of game time with a lvl 33 cryptarch, Still not a single exotic to be seen!
Hey all,
The title is self explanitory, Have been playing destiny non stop since the release with minimal sleep. I enjoy the game beyond comprehension and am more than happy with it. I honestly don't remember the last time I stumbled upon a video game so addictive.
However there is one very dissapointing thing, Still not one exotic decrypted from legendary engrams when everyone and anyone around me seems to be finding them or at least found some before they've reached my level. Either I'm extremely unlucky or there's something wrong with the rng whenever I go to decrypt something legendary.
Now in all honesty I'm going to be extremely blunt here by saying I definitely feel like I'm being cheated by bungie. I've had to resort to farming purely for the reason of attempting to source my own legendary engrams to hopefully decrypt into something exotic with still no luck.
Someone please tell me you're in the same position as me...
I have no spirit left to play the game all I need is that little spark of hope and by saying this I mean a damn exotic already.
Red death, hard light, or suros regime would be fantastic right about now.
I for one am not the person to make topics or posts like these on the forums but I just needed to share my awful luck to see how many are in the same boat. If for any chance something is wrong can a bungie employee please rectify the situation.
I feel as though I deserve one by now.

5 RepliesBud, you deserve a few exotic weapons and armor... That is complete BS. I don't have no where near as many hours as you and I'm upset because I've had to buy most of my legendaries. It's funny... Here I though people would stop playing destiny because they got everything they wanted and would just get board. Nope, people are going to stop playing because the games loot system is horrible. We all might as well play roulette! It wouldn't be a big deal, but they have there retardedly difficult strikes and raids, and we "have" to have gear that levels us up to do them. Not to mention the lack of Ascendent shards/energy to level our weapons up. Thanks Bungie for giving us the worst loot system in video game history! It's not fun, nor funny... This system needs to be fixed!

11 RepliesPeople keep acting like exotics should be dropping like candy. There is a reason that they are the best gear in the game. They are supposed to be next to impossible to get. Anyone who has ever played an MMO should know this fact when it comes to the very best loot.

3 RepliesWow dude I'm sorry to hear that. I have had great luck with the cryptarch I guess, only level 10 and have full legendary armor from him and just got my first exotic from legendary engram last night...Thunderlord!

And the only legendary weapons I got were a scout rifle and a sniper rifle, the 2 weapons I never actually use. Its really getting tedious, I enjoy the game and like doing strikes but the time vs reward of doing them is not beneficial. Even if I do get drops from the strikes its for level 16 gear, in a level 24 strike I shouldn't be getting level 16 gear. Then the only exotics that were for sale for my warlock were the same as last week for a sunsinger while I was a voidwalker, it's like the game figures out exactly what you don't want or need and gives you that if anything at all.

I hope I am not being a smart-ass, but when I look at your profile it says 151 hours. That's like a full time job of work less then u r saying. Or did I miss something? Also, just buy legendary gear with strange coins and do as much bounties as you can, till you get exotic bounty. I have like 55 hours and got legendary bounties, and got 2 legendary items from Blue engram..... Some thing just have 2 do with luck.

I have gotten one exotic from a legendary engram, sucks that it was the lucky raspberry armor that i had just bought from xur earlier that day :<

dude, i felt the same. all the legendary engrams got decrypted and i only got blues. but i had a lucky day today. found 5 legendary engrams and only one got decrypted into a blue one. also got an exotic sniper rifle today. dont give up u'll get your exotic!

I'm lvl 8 cryptarch and have changed two legendarys into universal remote exotic shotgun and patience and time sniper. I have however still not managed to get anything legendary weapon wise. It's either exotic or blue.

Turn in crucible bounties to get exotic bounties. Try turning in three or more crucible bounties at a time. I'm on my third exotic bounty.

Try completing a lot of bounties in one day to get an Exotic Bounty. I'm on two at the moment and have one exotic sniper in the vault and equipped one exotic scout rifle. Also have an exotic helmet. Lvl 26 Titan.

I'm literally in the same boat. I've opened he two. Chests in the vault and got 2 shards, I've beaten bosses in the vault and got.... Wait for it.....NOTHING!!! Not a Damon thing!!! I've turned in purple engrams and have gotten .... Wait for it.... NOTHING WORTHWHILE EVER!!! Once I beat the game and check out the queens missions I'm probably going to shelf this game for a while. There are better ways I can spend the most precious engrams I have. My Time. Good luck.
