5 RepliesAm I the only one who was pumped to get Bad Juju and then utterly disgusted with it after acquiring it? I mean I understand the need for low impact on a RoF spec'd Pulse Rifle for balancing purposes. But I feel like a 5-burst mag more than balances the RoF, and even with String of Curses, the impact isn't high enough that kills are necessarily attainable, so it almost nullifies that buff anyways. I mean I can see how a lot of it was hype, everyone expecting exotics to be like wielding the Hand of God, but at the same time... With the difficulty of acquiring them from bounties, you'd hope they'd at least stack up to other weapons of their class, ya know?

Bad juju could use a buff, that buff I think would be to it's impact, and lower it's reload a bit to compensate. Don't touch that ammo pool though.

I agree, I worked my ass off to get Thorn. When I excitedly pulled it up to look at it's stats I was fuming. I went from an eleven round drum to a six?! SIX on an exotic? And on top of that it wasn't even going to do more damage, even with it's "unique upgrade" that basically does the same as explosive or heavy jacketed rounds... Exotics are a let down. Let us fill our inventory with them or make them with it!!!

2 RepliesBad Juju needs reworked with range/ammo capacity, yes I know they're perks you can use down the tree but still. It eats ammo do bad and it's not very accurate at range. And where is the damn void damage I keep hearing about?.

Personally i choose Hard Light and even Monte Carlo over Suros Regime. Surose does have decent perks but if im using an auto rifle I want rate of fire. With Hard Light you get a few good perks that make up for it's weaknesses depending on build. Like if I want to be more accurate I can add a stability perk to it that will really reduce recoil. Or I can use field scout that make the gun have a larger magazine and higher reserve ammo pool. With volatile light overpenetration and rounds that ricochet off walls durther damaging other targets. Now dont get me wrong Suros Regime looks nice but the slower rof when ads even with more impact is a perk I dont like. If it was switched to say kills with this gun grant bonus ammo to reserve. And then had the slower rof as a back up in the 3 perk selection tree I could see it. Being the best as it could be built to suit any players playstyle. But the same could be said of any exotic.. In short. Its all personal opinion and depends on how you play.

20 RepliesI think an even more important thing to consider is: Armor exotics. So far I see all of these (in my opinion) garbage hunter exotics. I'm not about to upgrade something that helps BladeDancer subclass when that's basically worthless in PvE (lezbehonest). Especially when I have heard about other hunter gear that has actual useful shit on it. The lack of information makes it really difficult to determine something like a "best in slot". I know this isn't a standard MMO, but it is definitely a gear grind of a game and putting a cap of 1 exotic weapon/armor piece makes every slot that much harder to decide what to use.

I was crazy trying to get the Suros regime. Then I realized they nerfed the hell out of its skill tree. First upgrade "slows weapons fire rate while aiming down sights" totally screws the weapon up. Can't Belive it! It was perfect with its beta stats.

28 RepliesI disagree with you on thorn. Yes the mag sucks, but the armor piercing and dot make it so amazing. In pvp it turns the handcannon from a 3 shot head shot to a 2 shot, not to mention the huge waves of trash you can destroy and dot with those 6 bullets. I'm a 27 striker, with handcannon gear and I've loved it more than any other exotic I've acquired.

1 ReplyHard Light is imo a true monster. yes the stability blows at first but once upgraded you have 40 rounds of incredibly accurate fire. plus the tracers are amazing to watch xD
