Generally speaking, I don't like Angry Joe or his videos. Kind of a whiny kid. However, he does make some good points in many of his reviews. And he has a point in this review too. He should probably research that whole 500 million dollar thing too. Destiny's actual game development budget was around 150 million give or take. Now marketing budget, that's a whole different story, though it still doesn't approach 500 mil.
Good on you for posting this cause they need to see what they've really made after all that PR hype.

Even if it was as "low" as 150 million, that's still an insane amount of money for one game. Darksiders 2 was developed for $50 million, and the person who bought that IP recently said that was WAY too much money to spend on the development of one game... Darksiders 2's size and quality notwithstanding.

I understand the budget for Destiny is huge and the amount of content it offers doesn't make sense for a 100-150 million dollar game, though I understand server side infrastructure and development can cost a lot of money; well into multi-millions.
