I gotta be honest. Last night I was farming with like 4 other random guys....Bored out of my mind after like 30 min and all of a sudden there was an endless supply of thrall coming out of the building on left and captains everywhere, wizards, fallen, servitores, etc. It was absolutely INSANE! It was pure chaos for like 15, 20 minutes!!
This was the most fun I've ever had in this game! Not sure why/how this happened, but it was amazing! Just my 2 cents (:

it happerns on mars were you farm chests an iron it was insane the vex came out of there cave and the cabel came at the same time it was a blood bath there was no end of them for 20 minitea i loved it

Yep. Same here. It was chaotic and even as a level 25, the lower level Servitors were putting up a pretty solid fight. Wave after wave of Hive and Fallen.

Yup, all 3 times I've hit the Cave Casino this has happened, its pretty fun because they just keep coming from three different points and although it says "enemies are moving against eachother" it seema like both factions just focus on the guardians present lol. It also happened to me once on Venus in that clearing where there are dregs and goblins constantly duking it out. Good times.

I swear that battle is the best in the entire game. When I first played the strike in the beta, it was crazy intense. I felt like the game lived up to my expectations. Now that it's out, I can't believe the campaign, strikes, or raids don't have this feeling. If you want to put your guardian to the test then hang out at the treasure cave until the war breaks out. See how many yellow bared lvl 7 enemies you can take out near the end.

This happened to me tonight! Cave chaos mode!! It would be awesome if Bungie implemented an arena type setting for this albeit already kinda of a borderlands thing, but I'm sure it could be done a bit differently..

its a kind of anti farming program i think. atleast thats what me and my friends have discovered. when you farm in a a place long enough (on any planet) you will get the message that they are getting stronger. and you will get the wave of super baddies on the field. so farm away and enjoy the chaos that it rewards. one of my favorite aspects of the game :)

Edited by DemiToast: 9/22/2014 8:23:28 AMIt happens at dusk and dawn on multiple planets. Earth, Venus and Mars all have them. Not sure about the moon. It's been around since the beta, before the cave was discovered. Just a cool little event.

it happens to me at loot cave whenever a 5th gaurdian zones in. SO it may also be triggered by local "bubble" population.

If you notice before that happens text pops up on the side that says something along the lines of, "The enemy is moving against each other." Basically, the Hive and Fallen attack one another enmasse, and you get caught in the middle. Especially since that area is next two or three spawn spots for the Hive.

Pub event happens every hakf hour... or a chance to happen.

This doesnt happen as a public event though- just a mass spawning of enemies, no reward message or tier ranking at the end- when it ends you are just left there like- "what the hell just happened"

That's only happened to me back in the beta. I've never been able to get that again. I did get to do an event similar to that where me and my buddies came across a Fallen patrol on Venus with Pikes. Needless to say we killed them and took their rides.
