The exotic weapon doesn't mean it's stronger. Trust me. I use an exotic hand cannon and it still takes the same shots as a rare or uncommon one. The only difference? It's accuracy is amazing so I'm landing more shots. It really is about accuracy. I've had people using golden guns unable to hit me and I just laugh, yet I've had times where people snipe me with it from mid air. ACCURACY IS KEY!

Actually the upgrades stay. So unless I am missing something the damage upgrades and defense upgrades are still 'in' -but- the damage/defense caps is also 'in' as in a level 1 item.

Every gun does the same damage.
Every gun does the same damage.
Don't they have to cap first? Which means an exotic actually takes time to cap. Because my Hard Light upgrades Perfect Balance, Glass Half Full and Volatile Light are working in PvP as intended. I would find it strange that some upgrade work and the damage/defense ones get shutdown, which I am sure they don't.

Edited by SovietSes pool: 9/23/2014 2:40:59 AMThose are considered attributes and don't effect the actual damage output. My last word for instance has last word which grants bonus damage and stability and extra precision damage when firing from him, i dont know if they shut down the damage factors but it does have more stability. But it also has hip fire which grants bonus accuracy when aiming from the hip which is applied to pvp. But as strong as it is, and all the damage boosts it comes with, it still takes 4 body shots and 3 head shots as does any other hand cannon. Everything but damage and defense is applied. Armor abilities like faster melee and increased ammo supplies also matter. Things like bonus accuracy while crouched for weapons are applied. Things like the last bullet in mag doing extra damage are not applied. If it's a mix between both? I'm not 100% sure.

I'm not sure either. To me it felt like there was a cap damage so it felt like legendaries and exotics were (possibly) at an early disadvantage. Let's assume they are all turn to level 1. I am thinking it has something like: 20/30 All your damage upgrades will only make it cap at 30 and that's it. Whereas an actual level 1 weapon probably already has that cap(?) Meh I don't know. That was my theory considering how long it was taking to kill stuff before my last two damage upgrades. Might be mental. I might just be getting better.

Accuracy is key. I sometimes can kill 2 people in a single clip but others it takes me almost 2 and I barely survive. I don't think the 10 points make much of a difference. Accuracy and fire rate are the most important in my opinion.

I need some constructive criticism on my proposal.
Assault Rifles •Slightly reduce the base Damage of all Assault Rifles by 8% for a total of 15% reduction with the original update, modified by weapon stat. •Slightly reduce the base Accuracy ranges by 10%, modified by weapon stat for a total of 35% with the original update. Pulse Rifles •Slightly increase the base Damage per bullet range by 3% for a total of 20% with the original update, modified by weapon stat •Slightly increase the base Stability range by 5% for a total of 30%, modified by weapon stat. •Slightly increase the base Rate of Fire by 39% for a total of 20% with the original update, modified by weapon stat. Scout Rifles •Slightly increase the base Damage of all Scout Rifles by 28% for a total of 20% with the original update, modified by weapon stat. •Slightly increase the Rate of Fire by 10%, modified by weapon stat. Special Ammo •Increase respawn timer by 100%. •Decrease spawn points by 50%. •Ammo drops fully upon killed.
Keep in mind I use Hard Light (exotic auto rifle) and Sniper weapons. So basically I am asking for a nerf to my weapon of choices. Also glad you use an HC and not an auto. I might get a Scout and a Pulse to use those weapons myself for more tests. But Hard Light is what I have ;)

I love sniping people mid air its so funny to see them fall after head gets shot off
-
I love when people charge me with a shoty and I just jump backwards and unload rounds into their dome and watch their dead bodies skid to a stop lol. #ImNotCrazyAtAll
-
Be careful, it might be a titan with shoulder charge.
-
I hate charging shotys such noobs, they even use noob combo and camp like bitc hes
-
I use shotguns but i hate people who camp with them.I at least run around shot u once then punch u in the face.
-

Edited by Sidonias: 9/23/2014 4:15:55 PMsays the person with an exotic shotgun as there primary so stfu

I equiped to show this dude forgot to put back in vault

It gets annoying when you're about to kill someone and they pop out behind you and put a shell in your back. Look congrats. You shot a moving target at point blank range
-
Or run away blink run around corner abd when you going to deal final blow blam shoty to face and melee just in case shoty didnt kill you
-
This kid in the game i just played did nothing but hide with shoty.
-
Makes sense. If the rare weapons have higher accuracy then they do give you an advantage over folks that don't have em
-
yup. how that's even remotely fair, I dunno
-
I've had other people with more accuracy than my gun. I don't see any problem with the system.
-
I'm actually cool with it too. Just thinking about how Halo was green across the board. No advantages. Just skill.
