While everyone is bitching about farming that cave, I'm sitting in the tower looking at that beautiful city below.
Open that -blam!-er up, Bungie!
Let us race sparrows through the streets or go to bars and play space poker!
Let us go gamble our glimmer away at casinos and spend the winnings at "Rare Item" shops!
Let us buy apartments and deck them out with overpriced furniture from the four corners of the Galaxy!!!
Food for thought....
Just wanted to thank everyone for your awesome feedback. This community is -blam!-ing wonderful. If anyone wants to run sometime on Xbox one, my GT is Qdoggclay. Keep kickin ass, my fellow guardians.
-
If the had the sparrow races like the red bull rampage downhill
-
I would love to have sparrow races! Compete for prizes.
-
All great ideas, and stuff that SHOULD have been included in this game... Brb, gonna go play the same missions I've already beaten 10 times already and shoot at a cave
-
Since player housing seems all the rage in MMOs, opening up the city for exploration would be a great way to include this feature.
-
I can imagine the city will be up for explore in later sequels
-
Dude -blam!- yea that's the greatest idea I've heard in these forums in awhile lol I would LOVE to explore the city but one question if you look at the city there's like these long thin neon lines it looks like traffic light if you speed up a video
-
The City would probably be riddled with side quests that go from super easy to tobysnwfllvskwvf hard
-
Everything in this post is pure Gold.
-
I know the gaming industry is trying to look away at add on content but I'd buy this no problem.

Edited by Faithlesswolf: 9/22/2014 6:02:00 PMSo many times, especially when it's night at the Tower, I've looked out at The City. Our Tower is so far removed from all the hustle and bustle down there. But this is the last great bastion of humanity. What's it like? What are the lives of the people we're protecting? Are they comfortable; or are they afraid? How do they feel about the elusive Guardians in their far off Tower? Where do they get food from, and other resources that would need to be imported into such a large and dense urban area? There must be other settlements. There must be rural areas. Maybe there are local militias guarding them. How great would it be to have a new area on Earth where we need to protect civilian settlements too far from The City to be under the Tower's immediate protection?

"Space Poker" Yes.
-
yessssssssss. i love this. i hope bungie actually does something like this!
-
GTA V is the place to do that 😄
-
This. I've found myself standing at the railing, looking out over the city and having my breath taken away by the thought of how huge it is and how much is going on down there. The Guardians need to be able to mingle with the people, to be reminded why they're fighting; to keep the heart of the last city on Earth beating.
-
Uh yes, absolutely yes.
-
-
I don't think that would be a bad idea. Hell, Sparrow Races? Come on! It'd be like Jet Moto all over again! Who Wouldn't be down for that?
-
Fully agreed
-
We all know the shops would be owned by Rahool & Sons so I'll pass.
-
I want a damn VEX invasion of it and some block by block everything matters fighting...of course for everything to matter, I need to be invested in the place before the invasion....so yeah...Casinos--with chat enabled :)

This.

-
Make it like the tower where you are in 3rd person and you can walk into buildings and buy stuff
-
It should be a place where u can buy stuff and find secret areas and all that
-
Oh but that would be... content and work! We here at Bungie are racing to make the anti-climactic ending to the first piece of DLC.
