Bungie is doing their best to fix the problems... not only that, some of them are the fact that some hacker groups will keep hacking microsoft/ American servers. So dude, you need to calm down and stop shitting on Bungie because of your personal issues and lack of patience. Also, it is because of people like you that they say stuff like "find your own fix". People like you overreact and Bungie won't deal with people like you if you just jump to cussing and getting pissed. Maybe you should try out customer service. Also, error codes can be in any game. How about you go and make a game perfect, right now. Tell me if there are any errors at all. Make a game like destiny, put work into it. We'll see if any errors are there. It's not easy to make a perfect game and then have it run perfectly. If it doesn't run perfectly, it's not exactly easy to fix the problem. They need to see where it originated, duplicate the problem, and then fix what is going on. This can take days if not weeks. You act like Bungie should have everything perfect within the few weeks that Destiny has been out? You haven't even given them time to fix the problems. The reason they may not be answering either is because you and others come and talk to them like jack asses. You want to be a jack ass, so will they.

Go try customer service? Is that a joke? Bungie has no CS support. I'm not having any issues with the game, but come on. The game has been out for 2 weeks now and there are people who can not play. Either they can not get online at all or they are constantly being tossed offline. There are way to many people this is happening to for it to be a problem on their end. If you bought a game and since paying for it, you can't play it (for 2 weeks now) you would be just as angry as they are.

  • Thank you. I'm glad a few people can get that. It's just frustrating.. for me it's that frustrating because I've bought this game for 109,- Euro, then I worked hours on my network setup, bought a new ethernet cable for 14,- Euro to make sure it's not my WiFi signal that's causing this and then I also bought a new router for 189,- Euro. Okay, honestly I would have bought a new router anyway.. in a few years. But now I bought even this thing because a lot of people, including Bungie, told me my router could cause these problems. So.. yeah.. Destiny didn't just cost me a lot of times that I spend to figure out how I can make it work. It also costed my 312,- Euro in some way. It still doesn't work, and Bungie still blames my end of the line for it. That last thing is that one that makes my angry about this whole situation. I can live with MMO's that don't work for the first couple of days.. but it's hard for me to deal with this kind of ignorance Bungie is showing us since the games launch..

  • Yea, I really don't blame you guys for returning the game. I have never seen a company with such shitty customer service in my life. At least they could talk to everyone and say, 'hey, at least we are trying to fix the situation'. Right now it's more of a -blam!- you.

Serious? You buy a game, the damn thing should *work*. If it were you that was not able to play, you would be just as angry. I'm sorry but 2 weeks is unacceptable. And again, I have no issues, I'm playing the game. But that doesn't mean I can't see that this is a major problem for many others. Edit: sorry 12 days. Even that is unacceptable.

  • They are working on the issues. Every major launch has issues. If this was BF4 again I could see the fuss but it isn't.

  • Yes, I agree games have issues. But for almost two weeks not being able to play at all? That is more than an issue. It's a shame really...

  • Thanks for your support keyser22. I'm not that good in english, so I have a little disadvantage in such discussions.. so I really appreciate your support in this matter :) But I do think it's easy to bring Battlefield 4 as an exsample for an even worse game launch than Destinys. But just because it can be worse doesn't mean it's alright. I remember a time when you could buy console games without any worries. You just put them into your console, pressed start and you could just enjoy the game. Now we have almost every year one or two games with such issues. Yeah.. it could be worse, but it could also have been avoided. These issues only prove one, someone has not done his homework. Maybe the same thing happened to Destiny that happens to a lot of games today.. maybe it's just been rushed. It would explain a lot, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, I still like this game.. but it feels in a lot of way a little bit rushed and even unfinished.. and not just because of these issues I have. There are a lot of similarities to Dragon Age 2 in my opinion. I loved that game.. but it had it's flaws. Destiny has the same ones.. in my opinion at least.

  • I don't believe for one second anyone has not been able to play the game unless their internet won't allow it.

  • So everyone who is saying they can't play because they either can not get online or is booted constantly only in *this* game has crappy internet? Maybe if it was 10 or 20 peeps, but there a *lot* more than that.

  • Two weeks is a lot of time to let people officially know they are at least working on error code bee as well.

  • Bungie is doing their best to fix everything that's not Error Code Bee. If you tell them you have error code bee the first and last thing they'll do is pointing their fingers on your internet connection, your ISP or even your console. They are not doing anything about it. They still don't get, that a lot of people with perfectly working connections have these issues. "People like you overreact" People like I payed for a product. That product has not been delivered. "Also, error codes can be in any game." Yeah.. but beta tests are there to sort those things out. These problems did exist during the beta and Bungie didn't just not fix them.. they also didn't acknowledged them at all. They didn't do this beta to make sure the game will work when it comes out. They did that to make sure as many people as possible preorder that game. "How about you go and make a game perfect, right now." I didn't get 500.000.000 $ to do so, fanboy. When I do I'll start working immediately.. I promise. "They need to see where it originated, duplicate the problem, and then fix what is going on. This can take days if not weeks." You got me wrong there, buggy. All I want is to know if they are working on this bullshit, just because they are always pointing their fingers in every possible direction, looking for scapegoats, as soon as someone talks about error code bee. When they point their fingers to ISP's or perfectly configurated network settings (all as recommended), then I know something is fishy. They may see a lot of other errors by their own product, that's sure. But they don't see error code bee as their own problem. Just look in this forums. I was contacted from someone from Bungie as well, you know? I told him what's going on, that my network has 0% packet loss and is configurated as they recommended.. and you know what? Nothing. I got no answer anymore, because blaming my router/ISP wasn't an option for this guy anymore. Oh.. and just so you know.. I was really nice when this happened. He just went silent, what is a NoGo when it comes to "How to threat your customers". "You act like Bungie should have everything perfect within the few weeks that Destiny has been out?" Nope. I act like Bungie should give us at least some information about what to expect in all those matters. They give us nothing. When it comes to error code bee they leave us in the dark. That's bullshit. "You haven't even given them time to fix the problems." As I said.. I don't expect them to fix it immediately. All I want is to know what's to expect. Are they also working on bee? Are they still doing their "bee is your problem, not ours, so gtfo"-thing? It would be nice to know if they are working on mine (and a lot of other peoples) problem as well or not. "You want to be a jack ass, so will they." Yeah, but they want my money.. so.. whatever. My posting is also a reaction to all these "nicer" postings where people asked about what to expect from now on that Bungie just ignored. They ignore everything, not just jackasses like myself :p So.. that's all. Have a nice day, buddy.

  • And fanboys like you have no right to judge ;) My setup is fine, -blam!-'er. Worked alone on it, let my ISP look over it again to make sure everything is the way Microsoft and Bungie recommended it and this game still wont work. Of course I have a right to complain. I may have no idea how netcodes are working, but those nice people from my ISP, they have.. they work with these kinds of issues every day. And I've done everything I could, together with them, to make sure my connection can't cause any trouble. Made a double check, there is no packet loss on my end. Everything else works, Destiny does not. When I can't start my car I wont start blaming my parking garage for it. I wont blame my connection anymore, because it has been checked a couple of times already. That's on Bungie, not on me.. I wrote a lot of reviews on the internet (in german, because it's easier for people like you to troll me in english then it would be in german), stating this issue. A lot of people replied, and a lot of them still have the same problems and also feel the same way about this bullshit.

  • Bnet ate my post. Here's the gist: Bee is a client side error, unless their error reporting mechanism is off. This means that somewhere in your chain from your home LAN to the Bungie servers, there's an error that prevents communication from happening. They are not obligated to help you because as far as they know, they've done nothing wrong. I implore you to look at the massive numbers who can connect just fine, and ask what the difference between them and you is. As you mentioned writing articles in German, I might posit that the general connection between Germany and the US is funny, assuming Destiny servers are based in the US. You can't blame the devs for this. Also, my first post wasn't trolling. It was an insult. This post isn't trolling either, it's an argument. If trolling to you is simply a dissenting opinion I regret to inform you that your grasp of English is far from good.

  • There are also massive numbers of people with the same issue. Just use this forums search button and write "bee" in it. And if the connection between Germany and the US is "funny", that one is not on me. As I said, this connection and it's packet loss has been checked, it's fine. Haven't got any issues with other games of services until now. They've screwed something up, even if it's just the positioning of their servers. But to be honest.. I don't care what went wrong with this game. I would bet my life on it that this problem is not caused on my end. Too many checks have been done to find anything that could cause any trouble, not just from me. If something happens between me in Germany and the Destiny servers in the US.. sorry.. then some bad logistics happened. You wouldn't see Blizzard to try something this stupid. They have some servers in Paris, just for the EU. Why? Because they know that it can cause a lot of trouble to let people connect to servers on the other "side" of the world. It's still funny that it's only affecting 6vs6 pvp matches and the tower. "You can't blame the devs for this." Of course I can. Their publisher is called Activision/BLIZZARD. Blizzard places servers on different continents to avoid these issues. Other companies did always the same with their MMO's as well. When Bungie thought they could avoid a few costs by placing only servers in the US.. yeah.. that's totally on them then. "I regret to inform you that your grasp of English is far from good." Still better than your German, I'm sure of it. Also I think for someone who never learned English in school I do pretty well.
