Are Titan's and Warlocks OP? or was I just having a bad day
I'm a Level 21 Hunter, Titan's and Warlocks from close range seem to always destroy me due to their special abilities. Am I bad or are they op?

I've concluded it was a bad day, although in my opinion all classes are generally equal - have their own strengths and weaknesses - hunters suit me and since I posted this when I bought the game a few days after release I had to learn how to piss off a whole team as I massacre them with Bladedancer

I have a fairly standard attack as a sun seeker. First I hit you with a grenade, then I hit you with a fire fist and watch you burn. One grenade won't kill you. One slap won't kill you. But I can do both very fast. Which is good. 90 percent of my kills are melee

9 RepliesHunters are the most OP class in the game. 3 insta kills with the golden gun, TONS with the blade dancer, and the fact that they have BLINK, is just not right. Titans are the under powered ones, since to be deadly they have to catch the players by surprise for the instant kill melee, and super.

Not to sound condescending but just learn to play the class. Same goes with every class, have you tried other classes? I have and there are ups and downs to them all, once you know the strengths you can use them to your advantage. I might sound like yoda but its true..

Keep em ranged- it's what a hunter is supposed to be good at. The problem is we all go for hubter thinking they're tanks.... They're not lol

Without supers its about player skill, with supers it goes as follows: fist of havoc > golden gun > nova bomb > arc blade sunsinger and defender are equal on their own level of play imo. So with this a titan with full armor and the harder to kill perk will kill any other super while living, Gg kills nova bomb and arc blade, nova bomb kills arc blade. As it stands the arc blade is second easiest to kill next to golden gun bit has the disadvantage of being melee. So regarding supers, yes if u wanna look at it that way the titan n warlock supers can b considered "op" for completely stopping yours but outside supers vs bad players arc blade reigns supreme. Not regarding supers if ur losing, u r just not as good as your opponents.

Well, they are closed ranged based so, that might be why they are so powerful at close range.

9 RepliesMy ass! Hunters are way OP in PvP. They clear out entire rooms! My Warlock melee never one-hits anything unless the enemies shield is depleted. Angry magic doesn't work anymore so it's not like my super actually homes in on anything... But Blade Dancer... I've seen it too many times. Those bitches go to town and rarely do they get shut down before getting AT LEAST 3 kills

everything is op. hunters just don't have the panic supers that warlocks and titans have; they also have the worst grenades. You'd think it balances out since Hunters put the most emphasis on gunplay but when every other gun is a one hit kill it's really kind of useless lol

All three classes are OP in their own ways. Let's be rational here. Plan to expect excessive demonstrations of said "OP-ness" in pvp if you so choose to play.

tbf..........ive been destroyed by hunters, warlocks, and titans in my time in the crucible. my main is a titan defender and the amount of times my 'unbreakable bubble' gets me killed from something breaking it is just plain daft. The long and short of it is as soon as someone gets to grips and really gets their class working for them they become overpowered to most. Although i have to say the only class i dread coming up against is the warlock.......i dont know why but i always have a hard time killed the lil buggers but i aint gonna say they are OP an deserve a nerf. The problem with the crucible is it just seems a random hell generator. Other fps'ers i usually get to grips with quite quickly, but i just cant seem to get a read on the matches on this. Plus a well time super can wipe out a team pretty much no matter what class you use (barring my oh so untrusty bubble of course ;) )

Can't wait for my Bladedancer to get nerfed so it can be even more useless in PvE just so the whiny ass failures in the crucible can not die to a super ability ...
