Watch this video. If the link doesn't start at the right time, it's 8:09 into it. He is using a Shingen-E against a Blade Dancer using Arc Blade and does 8 damage to the body and 12 damage to the head. The Shingen-E normally does 16 damage to the body and 24 damage to the head, meaning his damage is HALVED.
So can we PLEASE stop saying the Blade Dancer does not have damage resistance? This also correlates with my experience of Shoulder Charging Bladedancers just as they enter Arc Blade, which is normally a OHKO, and getting OHKO'd. Regardless of whether you think it's too strong or whatnot, it does have substantial damage mitigation.

Edited by Omen47: 9/20/2014 8:05:56 PMI can't believe this thread (http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/69781991/0/0) is getting top rep, and a topic like this to provide a counterpoint I have to dig pages deep to find again. It was never about just the DR that made Arc Blade ridiculous in PVP; it was the DR and the speed boost, AND the OHKO on normals and Sunsingers, AND the spammable auto-lock dash that lets them fly through the air like a deformed, hateful flying squirrel, with a special choice of making it AOE, a ranged line attack, or turning you goddamn invisible.
