Wow, I just tried bandwidth control and so far I think I've set a new PB for longest time spent in the tower without a disconnect to 10+ minutes! And still going as I post this comment! (I normally average 1-2 minutes) Now I just need to try out some strikes and sessions with friends; I'll be sure to report back. :D
Thanks by the way OP!

If the problem is mainly internal (many devices), your only worry should be making it so they still got enough bandwitch to use

is this fix still working for you? im considering going to pick up a new router that has this option as well as Qos to give it a try, the game seems to work much better when i direct connect so im mulling the possibility that its my router

Had only one disconnect since tuesday, and it was a new error code i never had, you could wait for some more people to report if this worked or not

picked up a brand spankin new router with every feature you could hope for, if this doesent work im convinced this is not my setup.

Unfortunately I ended up getting bee errors again after some extended play, so I've bought a new router and switching to wired connection from the modem router straight to the console. I'll report back later, fingers crossed!

How did it work for you?

Edited by DCHIZZY: 9/21/2014 9:31:27 AMI upgraded my router and have now played 2 days seamlessly, not a single disconnect in any game mode. went from a D-link dir-655 to an asus RT-N56u. I had noticed if i direct connected to my cable modem i wasn't receiving any errors, so i figured the issue had something to do with the router. It appears destiny's servers are very strict, and any drop off in connection or interference with connection (someone using wi-fi etc) will cause a disconnect. The asus router i picked up is a dual band router and has a feature called qos where you can manage your bandwidth and it will automatically make gaming the top priority, i figure it is just supplying a stronger more steady speed then my previous router. who knows... all i know is it works now haha, that being said i see there are some people on here who still have issues plugged directly into the modem.
