Why apologize? Bungie needs criticism to understand that they did not deliver on anything they promised. Destiny has Plus and Minus aspects, most of which are Minus. Things it does great is overshadowed by those it does horrible.
Why should we apologize for their lack of creative writing? The story is garbage, characters are useless, nothing is memorable. I'm sorry, what happened at the end? Oh, right, I forgot cause it SUCKED.
Why should we apologize for all the locations promised and promoted on Earth, Moon, Venus and Mars? Where is Europa? Old Chicago? Mumbai Push? The City? All the locations on the other planets/moons. We got a half-baked product that is simply a FUN game, which is great - But where is all the other things promised? Hyped? Nowhere to be seen. This business of releasing a product with cut content is only found in the AAA industry.
So no, no one should apologize for anything. We got a good game, slightly shy from great, but sadly was WAY OVERHYPED and BUNGIE failed to DELIVER on PROMISES they made. So hopefully the NoVision of Eric Hirshberg and that companies DLC/Expansion abuse will allow BUNGIE to deliver on what we did not receive on launch.

The fixes for the game are minor and cortical at best this game wins on all levels. What exactly did they promise you? I remember knowing it would be a fps with some social aspect. So you apparently understand that this game just came out 2 weeks ago and it has plans to expand in the future and change what we don't like and no better people than bungie to do so. The story is supposed to be bland so they can leave room for the future. If you are unhappy with the product it is clearly because you created your own hype train...

I don't actually HAVE the Destiny app. Did I struck a nerve? Do you enjoy a shit story? Worthless characters, terrible writing and lifeless planets with cut content to sell off as DLC? Hmm... You must love AAA cause 90% of it is mediocre at best. Does my statement mean I am BASHING the game? No, truth hurts, Bungie should know they got someone who sucks at writing an interesting story, interesting characters, proper use of highly known celebrities doing VO work, interesting locations, fun strikes, worthwhile boss fights that AREN'T just bullet sponges, etc.. Does that mean I HATE the game? HATE bungie? No, means I give two shits for this game, for the franchise and they need to do a better job. To be fair, I am enjoying the Crucible, that is where most of my Destiny time is.

U sound like me, a person that wants the game to succeed, but is honest and realizes that the game isnt memorable, failed to meet expectations set by bungie itself through interviews. Its upgrade masterchief, multi player, co op mode with a weak story unless u like to read on ur phone. Go on ur exactly right on ur post and bungie needs to hear it.

[i][u]I[/u][/i] spent 80 on an awesome game. True this is my opinion, and yes, I do expect more eventually. However, I did the research before I bought the game, played the beta, and went to the conventions. I knew the plan. So it's not half assed to me. My point is: if you didn't know what you were getting and just followed the hype (like so many of you did), then you should sell your game or trade it in and stop trying to put down a product that you knew nothing about. I'd rather play with people who actually like the game.

Halo 4 was complete apart from some game modes we didn't get, Mass Effect 2 was a complete game, Dishonored was a complete game, Far Cry 3 was a complete game. All of them were $60 at release, had excellent writing, was incredibly fun, and had a lot of replay value. Face it, Destiny is half-baked. Even MMO's that have regular content updates feels more complete than Destiny, and this isn't even an MMO.

None of that was promised at launch. All these locations you are speaking of are part of DLC and events. The game is one of four spanning for 11 years. What would be the point of unlocking everything day one? Unless your a 30 you really have no reason to be complaining as you have not even finished what they delivered at launch, let alone DLC. Stop embarrassing gamers with mindless thoughts please.

I replied on this post a while back and i was just reading through this post and i saw your reply and i want to make 1 statement, this game is mediocre anyone that thinks other wise needs to start cleaning their nose off because not only is it not sanitary it has to smell awful and then go get some real well made perspectives like if you have a pc or an original xbox morrowind, the first second and third splinter cell, tc rainbow six, doom3, first fable. And just start relizing yours is an opinion his is a fact because these 6th gen games is better than your 7th gen game tryin to be 8th gen. On a side note all those games have more content than destiny, possibly even after its done in 11 years. How does that make you feel?

Again, you're expressing an opinion. Whether or not you like it, that's exactly what you're doing. There are current games that are far worse than Destiny. The quantity of content isn't what makes a game. EVERYONE has an opinion. I like the game and I think it's great - that's my opinion. You don't like and think it's complete crap - that's your opinion. I'm merely stating that everyone has differences in tastes, likes, dislikes, preferences, etc. Just like anything else out there, you can't sum up a game's credibility through opinion. Some people don't like chocolate, some people don't like steak, some people don't like salad. But you can't judge a salad, steak, or chocolate through someone's opinion.

Anything that came out before the halo/cod hype of game making and yes ill agree people are being to unresonable with their request how could any one expect two hacks of game making companies to make a good game at launch. The game has terrible murchants terrible drops and artifisial difficulty which is not real difficulty, so fair warning dont buy 2 pieces of exotic piece of armor you can only wear one at a time. So sorry bungie that people are so ungreatful for your average game. So just get good bungie
