Tell me, how is the hunter overpowered? lets analyze this very closely. Golden gun, you get 3 shots to get as many kills as possible, not only that, you are on a time limit. you get absolutely no defensive bonuses, you dont get anything to help you survive, if anything when people see a flaming hunter they all shoot it. you die very quickly, also, its not instant, it take a full second to summon the gun, the entire time you are completely vulnerable. BladeDancer, Hmm, NO it is NOT a one shot to anything. when a titan has a overshield from the bubble or defender melee ability, it takes 2 hits to kill. when a warlock has sunsinger active, it takes 2 hits, 3 if they use the armor bonus. this skill does give defensive boosts, lets go over what they are. you get a resistance to arc damage. thats it. so the only time it helps, is if the other person uses arc damage, like arc grenades, or another bladedancer ability. lets go over one more thing, Titan fists of havoc, we CANNOT tank through it, it kills us instantly no matter what. the only reason you could possibly think we tank through it is if we jump out of the way, which we can because we are agile. we have little to no armor. so lets list a way to kill a blade dancer Shotgun in middle of lunge Shotgun while they are activating it Use the titans one hit melee, that is ALWAYS an insta kill, and yes this means you can run straight at a hunter in bladedancer mode, then do your charge and it WILL kill them, always kills me 1 sniper bullet in the head, or 2 in the body WILL kill us very easily Golden gun can one shot us as well. The warlocks nova bomb kills us very well, but we can easily blink away from it. Melee hit us 2 times from normal melee damage and we die. Stand inside a bubble with a active bonus enabled and we can hardly kill you unless we use razors edge. shoot us with any heavy weapon and we die very fast. shoot us the normal amount of time with any gun and we die, because we do NOT have defensive buffs. the only thing you could possibly think is defensive buff, is there is a skill to give us a LITTLE of our health back for a kill. but it requires getting a kill. hmm, it would seem that it is very easy to kill us, regardless of you attempting to say we are OP. now lets analyze the other supers. Fists of Havoc, Titans get a super that not only activates instantly, but also makes them near invincible while they are using it. so its basically a guaranteed kill, or 6 kills, if you are anywhere within 15 feet of enemies. they dont even have to be on the ground since this attack kills both ground and air. Ward of Dawn, hmm i would say this is a tossup, because in one way it is very easy to avoid, say in clash, but in control it is very OP, because you can stand inside it and be close to invincible if you know what you are doing and use a shotgun. also, it can give defensive boosts to EVERYONE inside it on your team, OR damage boosts. Nova Bomb, not only can you very easily and almost instantly kill an entire team, but you can do it without exposing yourself by shooting it around a corner with a perk that makes them track enemies. can you say easy kills? Sunsinger, do not even try to complain about sunsinger, i watch so many people use sunsinger and DOMINATE the leaderboards. so what if you are vulnerable while using it?? thats exactly what its like for a hunter using EITHER of thier specials. EXCEPT you get a defensive boost with sunsinger, AND you can even resurrect yourself with it and then have it active! PLUS it is the FASTEST recharging ability there is! so to claim hunters are OP, is a completely invalid statement and has no foundation. NONE of the classes are OP, you want to know why? BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE WEAKNESESS!! it just so happens that hunters are fast and can dodge, because they cant take that much damage, THEY ARE WEAK AND HARD TO USE! but if you use them correctly you can get easy kills, IT TAKES SKILL. and no i dont just use hunter, i use all classes, i play as all of them, i max ranked all characters in BETA, and plan on doing it again in the real game. they all have advantages, and they all have weaknesses, stop complaining and get good at the game. its not my fault if you cant set up your character well, or if you can use him very good. if you suck, then go for a titan, because they take the least skill to use and practically hand out free kills to you.

  • I play hunter mainly And have since day 1 Arcblade actually boosts your armor Just telling you My opinion is that FoH is most op but that's another story

    Can confirm shoulder charge does not one hit arcblade SC does double melee damage titans Strom fists does 110 damage so 110+110= 220 arcblade gets 50% damage resistance to all damage not just arc while active 50% of 220 is 110 so no it will not one hit if you are full health normal melee will not 2 hit you either half of 110 is 55 so it will take 4 normal melees to kill you with full health can also confirm that two body shots from sniper cannot kill at full health the one of the highest impact sniper is the gozen c with185 damage as already stated arcblade gets 50% resistance so half of 185 is 92.5 so it will take a three at full health but it will one shot in head because of 2.5 multiplier

  • Oh and sunsinger is currently bugged, touch of flame isn't giving the guaranteed added dot damage it should be doing, and often scorch goes off without sealing the dot either if your killed as you use it.

  • I've hit blade dancers with a shotgun blast to the face and only halved his health a full clip of auto rifle and they still have survived but I don't think that makes it over powered it just means you have to change your stratified if you see one but I do believe the blink abilities on both hunters and warlocks are overpowered

    dont worry man, im sure in your 3rd subclass you titans will get blink or something as good! and us hunters.... well we have 2 attack based sub classes, and im certain the next one will be team support. after all the hunters constantly get related to wolves by the speaker and other AI characters, im expecting a cool wolfpack style subclass that buffs speed and agility or damage for those around you, ooh maybe even stealth, like turns those around you when active invisible xD that would be so epic haha! but probly useless in crucible

  • two melee hits doesn't kill a hunter using blade dancer, I know because as a sunsinger I can survive that first attack, and I specialise with a melee blink build. I've only killed them after using two melee hits and a grenade or other added damage, when any other char dies after 2 melee hits

  • I guess it's just where scorch and touch of flame are broken and thus do not actually cause damage over time where they should, Bungie please fix, no other class has skills that just plain don't work when they should

  • hitting enemies directly with firebolt grenades means they do not proc the damage over time effect, and being killed as scorch procs will use scorch, deal the bonus damage it should, but again fail to ignite the enemy for further damage over time, on Xbox one.
