You've done all this math and gotten yourself all worked up. Do you still just play the game? Sounds like you just don't want to put in the work for better items. You get out what you put in. You're tired of farming for crafting mats, don't, it will just take you longer to upgrade. You should look at it from a different perspective. Look at how it will all payout in the end. If you want easy then just stay level 24. If not, put on your big boy pants and work for it. I'm a much higher level than you and I can promise you it doesn't get any easier.

I myself am getting frustration with seeing so many other people that are near my level which is 24 with legendarys and yet just like him i am stuck with crap they need to fix gear drop rate and many other things, otherwise i bet people will start to leave this game as soon as farcry halo and call of duty come out

Look at alternative farming methods to mix things up, I farm for about 2 hrs every night but I've started looking at more enjoyable farming techniques like lvl 24 strikes and then letting myself die before the mission completes/no respawn runs out gives you a challenge that's enjoyable. from my perspective I was playing the weekly strike last night solo at a higher level than my stats allow so that one Id be forced to keep trying and 2 on the off chance I actually beat it I get that awesome feel good of what the hell? how did I beat that :D gonna try get 6 together at the weekend for the vault of glass once the progress reset kicks so we can try get that done, I'm lvl 25 and the highest of my buddies so should be hilariously unachievable but fun :)

I needed to hear this is how it is and understand what to Expect moving forward. Good stuff! Rewarding to play with younger or should i say less developed players.. really see how great your Mighty power has become. Playing with my brother last night on his story missions level 7.... i was dancing in the thick of things while he was running for his life getting his chainmail handed to him at every turn. That was fun!
