I'm with you man. Jumped in the Vault of Glass tonight. This is what I bought this game for. VoG is quite simply the sickest content I have ever experienced in a game. People who say the game is to small have no idea, the obviously haven't been in the Vault. The objectives and the team dynamics are unbelievable. I don't often gush over video games like this, but Bungie has blown me away with VoG. The thing about Destiny is that they are not just gonna give it all to you in the first week or the first month or the first year. You are going to have to dig. And not necessarily just farming and grinding for gear. And not just relying on luck of the draw loot drops. You've gotta grind a bit, and some aspects can be repetitive, but when you get to the Vault you will be glad you did the same Strikes over and over on harder and harder difficulties, because to get through the VoG you are going to need to be highly competent in the mechanics of the game. If you haven't beaten all the strikes on the hardest difficulty, haven't completed the daily heroics, haven't completed the weekly heroics, haven't completed the weekly nightfall, haven't completed the exotic weapon bounties, you will not survive the VoG. And this is only the first raid. This game is the Halo killer! There is not a game out right now that comes anywhere close, at least not one that I have played.

I heard the VoG is hard. Great! But... If you honestly believe the difficulty, teamwork and mediocre amount of tactics that went into the Vault justifies an almost endless amount of 'defend - sub boss - boss' before it, I feel bad for you. There is no excuse for the lack of creativty within the rest of the game. Did you ever play The Witcher? Even the "Kill X amount" quests required different tactics throughout. Again, no excuse.

Opinions are like armpits dude, everybody has a couple and the all stink. Doubt I will change yours, you certainly won't change mine. If I may however I would like to point out that you are spending time on forums of a game you don't like. If I didn't like a game I wouldn't waste my time on the forums. I don't even get on forums for games that I like a little bit. I'm only on here because I'm all in on this game. So if this is how you spend your free time , it is I who feel sorry for you!

Well that part where you said you feel sorry for me read as very condescending and arrogant like I'm some sort of sub class gamer because I'm impressed by the game. Word to the wise, in the future don't get UR hopes up and believe all the hype. A lot of the hype wasn't even Bungie's fault, a lot of it was people on the internet hyping the game. I have learned not to get overly hyped about games because they rarely, if ever deliver on it. While Bungie may not have lived up to All the hype(who could), they have definitely have delivered on a lot of it, and certainly delivered more than any other game that has come out this year. People need to withhold judgement until they get into the vault, it's an entirely different experience. I've spent more time in the vault than I did on the story mode. Story mode is just the beginning. And as far as having to pay for dlc, who cares. Games get more expensive over time, that's just inflation. PS3 games got more expensive then ps2 games. Ps2 more expensive then ps1 etc. dlc is just the way games are going now, and all games are doing it. You can either buy the dlc or you don't get the whole game. People getting all bent out of shape about dlc and the way games are release in parts now are just beating their heads against a brick wall. There is nothing y'all can do about it so why biitch?

I didn't mean for it to come off arrogant. I apologise. It's just a mannerism. I still stand by what I say, though. It's not too much hyping to believe they might throw in a few different tactics. I hardly heard of Destiny until my friend convinced me to try the beta. I just didn't expect the beta to basically be the full game. I can't wait to try the Vault, I just wish I didn't have to wait to be able to say "That was a -blam!-ing cool boss!". And I agree with you on the DLC part of it. It's just marketing, but honestly, the story isn't a story at the moment, it's a synopsis. A bad synopsis.

Yea I agree the story was a little lacking but they made up for it in the raid trust me. It's epic. I wasn't let down by the story cuz to me halo didn't have a great story. I just like that smooth fps gameplay that Bungie was famous for in halo. And destiny takes it a step further with strikes and raids. I can't wait to see more of those. After I beat the first raid the PvP will keep me occupied till dlc drops. VoG is absolutely sick dude. I would pay sixty dollars just for that

I am here to organize teams and devise strategy. It's clear you haven't played VoG probably not even the harder content of the game. Sure, the nightfall may be in the same area as the moon strike, and the enemies may look the same, but play the moon strike from planet view then play nightfall, it's a completely different strike. I don't know why I'm justifying the game to you, I like it. You don't have too. Go play something else I don't care if you hate the game, tired of hearing about it. Can't wait till all the crybabies get bored with the forums and stop pissing on everyone's parade that actually like the game and want to get on here to talk shop. I'm gonna start blocking all you trolls that comment negatively on my posts.

I don't hate the game. I don't hate on you for liking it. I'm playing it with friends and having a decent time gearing up. I'm just saying that strikes could be more interesting and varied. You're the one being negative and getting all offended and grouchy.
