I purposely equipped weapons i dont like and finished 5th and got an exotic sniper. I repeated the trick and got a legendary hc. Finishing 5th seems to be the sweet spot and it helps if your team wins. Whenever i have finished 1st or 2nd i have never been properly rewarded so tool mode it is. Btw i like the randomness as it stops people quitting matches.. Think about it. But the last 2 placers should never have a shot at an exotic
