This error only happens to me on wireless 2.4ghz , and it occurs when the microwave gets turned on. It causes the router to have signal collisions. More than likely you have other devices running on that frequency that is causing the issue. This isn't a bungie issue, it's an internet connection issue. Switch to a higher frequency so other devices don't interfere with the signal. Needless to say but even if you're wired and the main box has wireless capability, and using the 2.4ghz channel, you will get interference.

  • Living in an apartment complex where we are all basically nuts to butts switching frequency would just cause packet loss elsewhere. I went hardwired through Ethernet by power which cost me a pretty penny but the connection has been stable ever since. Packet loss is the real issue. It seems if you have any at all the game will be unplayable.

  • Negative, switching to a higher channel would cause less packet loss.. Why? The remainder of the population is to ignorant to understand they're on a flooded network.. Of course 5ghz will eventually get there but no time soon.. But you are right, it is packet loss issues causing the problem, but you just said it! That issue has nothing to do with bungie but your ISP!
