They will farm and farm, get nothing of consequence and then go to the Crucible....GET OWNED ROYALLY, REPEATEDLY and then bash Destiny in the forums. #TheCycle
Bungie reads the forums - Engram farming has already been patched. You will get things but it will be mostly garbage but here's an "A" for effort.

When these kind of games get patched, they have patch notes. They may fix it, but as of now it is not fixed. Still luck based, but hey, leveling the cryptarch for when you do get those purples is never a bad thing.

Well here's to hoping they say something about that publicly. It's not mandated that they report anything when they "fix" something some people deem an issue.

Usually they would follow that trend since they already started it. They would also notify the players that server maintainence is going to take place at this time on this date for this estimated amount of time. That's usually how these games play out through updates. With that said, engram farming is still going on. If bungie patches it, we'll know.

Edited by EXUnForgiv3n: 9/19/2014 12:10:21 PMI decided to check this spot out last night, had the 9000k bounty and fusion rifle double, along with the 300 whatever the hell you collect in the cosmodome. So this spot not only was awesome for all three, did it in about 15 minutes and got two purples, One turned into a sniper I don't remember the name of. The other became the Vanguard shotty, The Comedian. Now whenever I play a team in the crucible and they start warlock blinking shotty everywhere, I just go full auto shotty on their ass. Teach them not to blink up on me.

Any hotfix they do to slow engram farming through unlimited spawning enemies may take place, and if it does, we will know. Wasn't "bragging" about my purples, just trying to bring a little humor to this argument with the pvp statement above. I just wanted you to know it hasn't been fixed still and that purples are still dropping and are just the normal roll rate.
