Why do people complain about Engrams?
The other day I read a post that was someone complaining about buying a Exotic chest piece Engram and then enraged at the fact they only revived a legendary. I don't get it.
The whole point of Engrams is to give the sense of excitement and mystery hoping that you will get something good, yet you always know there is a chance you can get something awful, even if you've spent a fair amount of time grinding or saving up Motes of Light for an Exotic Engram. Almost like a pack opening in Mass Effect 3.
All I'm trying to get across is that, why do people complain if they get something bad when they knew it could happen in the first place?

Pack opening in Mass Effect 3 was one of the worst things about that game. It wasn't fun, it wasn't exciting; it was tedious gambling to try and keep you playing longer and giving them cash. Destiny isn't as bad because drops don't cost real money, but it's still pretty bad. Seeing a purple drop is exciting. Seeing a purple drop and then having it turn out to be a green isn't. It makes getting loot boring.
