It got mediocre reviews because it's an average game.
I used to think the PvP is fun, but now that's out the window too.
Sure the strikes are fun, but to a point. I've played them all a ton already, how many times do they think you can play them before they become tired and boring?

You're level 21 and have done a "ton" of strikes? Doubtful.
-
loool...special
-
I just check his profile... Apparently a ton is 10 lol
-
10 was enough for me to be bored. Go ahead and play the same shit over and over and over I don't give a shit.
-
hey leave him alone he read his opinion somewhere.
-
shot gun shot gun shot gun shot gun shot gun is what pvp is
-
I love how everyone uses shotguns though. I just keep my distance and use auto-rifles. Such easy kills.
-
shotgun or fusion rifle. They need to decrease ammo given for special weapons and decrease respawn time for them
-
They need to nerf everything and buff you. Talking shit to me when you're complete garbage at the game.
-
LOL i just checked your stats they are complete garbage my KD is 2.11 and your kD is trash get better at the game stupid kid
-
And that changes his .64 kd how again? Cute
-
Every game is repetitive and gets boring to a point. Some sooner and some longer for others. To each and his own.

You must of never played a mmo before
-
Edited by Transientmind: 9/17/2014 10:23:23 AMObviously YOU'VE never played an MMO before. Weeks minimum, more commonly MONTHS of content before max. Not days. Months. On launch, to boot. AND developed over time. You don't get a free pass on failing to do what everyone else is succeeding at just because you have plans.
-
Again MMO's have a TON more content than this game. Do they have raids you have to grind, yes, but only 5-6? NO! They also have a TON more loot and it's much deeper and varied. Is this game decent, yes it is decent. Is this game even half of what they led us to believe, no not really.
-
Compare a MMO on launch and you will eat those words. Because all MMOs are just like this with a crazy grind to lvl cap then dungeon gearing up while you wait for rated PVP and raids to open.
-
Actually 4 or 5 dungeons maybe 2 lucky if 3 raids must of never played wow or old republic
-
Again are you telling me with a straight face that Vanilla WOW had less than this game? If you honestly believe that then you're just not worth arguing with.
-
Must of never played when it first came out
-
WOW didn't have much in vanilla.
-
agreed
-
Are you kidding? You obviously never played it. WoW had MONTHS of content in vanilla, ON LAUNCH.
-
Oh you mean raiding the something over and over?
-
Well, that just proves you never played it. WoW had months of content before you even got to the level cap, let alone raided. Go to the WoW wiki and check vanilla zones. There were FORTY DISTINCT ZONES, not four. Sixty levels. Literally thousands of quests, with hundreds of unique quest-lines, each telling different stories and side-stories. There were ten classes, not three. Three skill trees, not two, each of which were separate from the ability progression. Eight races, not three, most of which had their own unique starting zones and lore. WoW took months to get to the level cap in vanilla, and even then you weren't done with uncovering the story in a far greater variety of quest types than Destiny offers. And that was on LAUNCH. In the ten years since, they've doubled the size. Compare to Destiny's two days of paltry story content (IF you can call that ham-fisted, half-assed mess a 'story') and you'll see why comparing Destiny to an MMO is a disservice to Destiny and an insult to MMOs so absurd that it's actually a joke.

Yeah whatever you mean a weeks worth of grinding to get to 50 which = weeks worth of content then raiding naxx maybe, and zul, slow people take months to get to 50, pretty much kids that are in middle school or high school.
