I just got denied doing Vault of Glass for being Mute.
I understand that communication is important...but I'm pretty sure My being a mute is not a reason to deny me a chance at it...

Communication is never the answer in y experience. So long as one can lead, all others have but to follow thy leaders commands. Most of the time I play games online it's me and my headset and a bunch of randoms with no mics. For whatever reason they follow most of my requests next thin you know I'm commanding the team. As long as 1 person knows what's up you'll do fine

3 Repliesthis is like the 4th or 5th post i have seen like this...i am 35 years old and have lived in america and abroad and have never met a single person that would act like that. not wanna play with you because you don't use a mic?...okay, fair enough...we've all had that happen. but because you are deaf specifically?...where do ya'll find these people? literally have never met a single person who rags on someone because of a disability. I am sorry that happened to you.

From a pick-up-group I understand it, since communication is huge. But if they know that you are a mute, there's not a problem communicating, really, just find a way that you can emphasize ingame that you understand and hear what people say. Hope you get through it mate!

They never have raided in a mmo then cause you only need two/three people talking. Good for you though

It takes teamwork, teamwork is communication. I wouldn't raid with someone without a mic. Same story. It sucks, but it's the facts.

Well, as long as you can listen to your team tell you what the plan is, the plan should unfold just right. Communication is important, but when you can't help it, it's kind of rude to deny like that.

I get that a lot of people need people to have mics, but I've has several friends who haven't used mics or at least didn't always, and we rocked out any game as a strong clan! If you were on ps4, I'd definitely kill it in the VoG with you!

Don't listen to the idiots. It's people like them that are failures in life, but bash on people online because they too afraid to do it in public. Yes it requires teamwork, but that doesn't mean someone can't work with you and tell you where to go or give you a general guideline to help complete the mission. You can laugh to yourself that any of these idiots on here that say stupid shit or say they wouldn't help someone, should have been a blowjob the night they were conceived.
