I agree with the lack of communication. IMO, emotes are fine I guess, but they could have used teh D-Pad for something far more useful. When doing Strikes and Crucible via matchmaking, one of two things should automatically happen 1) The people you are playing with should be put into a temporary fireteam OR 2) The people you are playing with should be put into some other sort of temporary structure that allows for voice chat. As is you either need to invite them to a party (PS4 main menu, I assume there is an XBOX equivalent), or invite them to a fireteam, which then boots them to orbit and they have to load in again. I will however say I'm more or less against proximity voice chat, jsut too much potential for abuse. I would really like an LFG thing where it's just added to the roster menu where a fireteam leader could post something like "need 2 more for Vanguard Viper runs" and make it so they could add a minimum level so they wouldn't have to constantly boot people they deem too low. Alternatively, you could reverse that, individuals post what they want to do, and fireteam leaders look at it and can invite them. In the end there are dozens of little things Bungie could do to make this game less quiet, which is the issue. For now, all we as players can do is join groups/clans here or start a thread saying "need friends for stuff"
