I am still having a blast with this game and I have logged about 100 hours of play time. you just have to be down for the good old fashion rep grinding that is a staple to any MMO then there is farming and farming and farming it gos on and on but that is the point you have to grind the rep farm the parts for upgrading gear farm the items to up your rep and farm the engrams to get the cryptarc rep up more rep and items you get the better toys you can get. Toss in a little PvP and a little story mode and you have a good game that with just a little work could live up to what they said it would be. On that note I am not sure why people hate on the story so much It was short yes but there were a ton of funny parts that made up for the lack of content and if you need more back story read your cards people.

I absolutely agree with you. Certain grinding elements are a must have for an mmo, as well as the fact that you get what you put into it. But I do concede the point that the gameplay seems to be the same thing over and over again. I can also see how all of the classes seem to feel the same. Throw in a different special, a different melee, and a different special jump and they all feel very similar. I've had this game for a week or so, but I'm still enjoying it. Yeah the combat is the same thing, but isn't that what a first person shooter is? Get the gun, kill the guy, get a bigger gun so you can kill more guys? I didn't watch the announcements, I didn't wait for the midnight release, but I can still say that I rather enjoy destiny. Even though it has some annoying quirks. But every game has those right?

Dude you haven't even put in two days of play. Yes you've played a lot and I actually agree with you but you haven't played any where near 100 hours.

I'm also counting alpha and beta time just pointing out that this game is no ware near getting old

You're dealing with people who are used to being spoon-fed comic-book-simple stories. You hit them with complex story that requires themn to think..and (gasp) actually READ something.... ..and they feel personally violated.
