I would rather it just drop the item instead if having to waste a few minutes going to the tower TBH. Nothing is as satisfying as getting and actual drop, not the same effect from a vendor.

True. At least with a drop you don't have time to be upset because you find out what you're getting then and there. But with the engrams, you're praying it'll be something good, and then have your hopes shattered.
