Why do people complain about Engrams?
Why do people complain about Engrams?
The other day I read a post that was someone complaining about buying a Exotic chest piece Engram and then enraged at the fact they only revived a legendary. I don't get it.
The whole point of Engrams is to give the sense of excitement and mystery hoping that you will get something good, yet you always know there is a chance you can get something awful, even if you've spent a fair amount of time grinding or saving up Motes of Light for an Exotic Engram. Almost like a pack opening in Mass Effect 3.
All I'm trying to get across is that, why do people complain if they get something bad when they knew it could happen in the first place?

3 RepliesBecause it feels like bait and switch. It's like here's a shiny exotic or legendary engram which you expect to turn into an exotic or legendary item but instead turns out to be only uncommon or rare. It's like going out and buying a Lamborghini and realizing when you get home it's just a cleverly painted tractor.
